Great food, old time flair and simple enjoyment. Fried beans and traditional Mexican restaurant dishes. Highly recommend and if you don't try it, you'll never have such a great place to recommend to your friends. Trust me, It's great food!!

The food was definitely below average. The tacos weren't edible, but the tamales and green chili were good.

Been having bad luck with Mexican food restaurants. This off the path in old down town Globe was recommended to us. OMG, this place was great! A lot of locals calling in orders to go... At least ten while we were there, seemed a bit weird that they were ordering to go. Granted it was a Sunday night. Staff was... More

I know people who come here just for the bean burro with sauce they remember from their high school days (many, many years ago) and while I'd agree with that choice, my real favorite is the green or red chili burro enchilada style. I always enjoy the tall ceilings and the old feel of this bustling establishment. Whether you eat... More

The food was flavorable, home cooked and came out hot. Cheese crisp with green chilies was tickling the taste buds, not bland, the Navajo taco salad had a good blend of salad makings and the green chilies. Cheese, beans and green chilies burro were soft, not over cooked. The fried ice cream was not made in house but was tasty... More

I had been here many years ago, the place has been in business since the 40s. Anyplace that has been business that long has to be doing something right. I read the reviews, the good, the bad, and the ugly. It was one of the few places open on a Sunday evening and had a decent crowd. I ordered the... More

Walking the historic district and stopped in for lunch . I had a 1/2 green chile plate and a quesadilla for my date. Perfect amount of food, served quickly, and delicious. There are several choices for Mexican in Globe but glad we stopped here.

Best Machaca in town, hands down! We have brought out of town visitors here, parties from 2 to parties of 15, and they are great and wonderful to work with! The food is excellent and hot! You start with complimentary chips, but we usually get a cheese crisp to share. The restaurant is located in historic down town, so the... More
