Went there for a quick mid week lunch. Self service based coffee shot but the food and coffee are excellent

Great coffee and snacks - coffee to die for and the short list of snacks and sweet treats is excellent. Lovely atmosphere - lots of nooks to settle down in.

Quirky historic coffee shop. Coffee is good and the seating areas are really cool. There is also a giant swing out front, fun!

The Provost is a different place to drink coffee. Originally a jail house you can now sit in or outside the old prison cells. Sitting between the university and the botanical gardens it is a great place to meet friends for a catch up or colleagues for a meeting. Oh and the coffee is pretty delicious too!

What a good idea it was to convert the former Provost gaol, which had stood empty for a while, into a campus cafe. Quite a unique one too, with the cells used as individual nooks where folk can enjoy their refreshments. The Mastertons coffee was excellent, a tasty apple pie went down a treat and the cell we chose provided... More

We had a wonderful break during shows here at Provost. Stop for a selection of herbal teas, or delicious bites. We had a quiche each - a little too small as we were hungry, but delicious none the less. Take a look around the old prison and learn a little more history. Each prison cell has various art on exhibition... More

This coffee shop is based in an old military prison, and is interesting to walk around in, you can even grab a table in one of the old cells. They have a good coffee and tea selection, and the staff is friendly. The only thing is that they serve the drinks in glaases, so you can't really hold your coffee... More
