We frequent often. It's useful as a comfort stop when travelling home from the south of Johannesburg. Usual beers but a good range of wines. House wine a good choice by the bottle. Food good. Venue very popular with locals

This pub is hidden in a quiet suburb and is popular among the locals. It's not hard to see why, the service is great and the food is good.
Giles was an icon is Johannesburg but lack of management and bad service has reduced it to a SAB funded pick up joint for old women and horny old men. No longer a local after work drinking spot or a fun place to hang out.
