Chef Chantel Dartnall, is after ten years at the Mosaic, fully established herself not only as an excellent chef, but also as someone, many in the culinary world in SA looks up to, as a leader in the industry. Chef Chantel sets her own boundaries, her own goals, and surpassed her own standards. It is wonderful to experience her excitement... More

A wonderful experience from beginning to end. You will have to travel far and wide to equal, let alone better, the standard of Mosaic. From the setting to service to the unbelievable delights dreamed up by chef Chantel! A trip to the wine cellar is a unique privilege.

So yes this restaurant is on the top 10 restaurants in SA but I have been to the top 1 and 2 restaurants and my friend and I both agree that Mosaic is by far the best. From the champagne/wine while you wait to be seated, through the Islamic inspired / Ottoman decor, to the genuinely friendly staff and experienced... More

This was really one to remember. We had lunch at Mosaic for my husband's birthday and if you want to do something really special for someone this should be on the top of your list. From the moment you arrive you are treated like royalty. The grounds itself is something special and if you have some time to stroll around... More

What an experience! Definitely one of the best meals of my life, and without a doubt the best in Africa. If this restaurant was in Europe, it would have had at least two stars in Guide Michelin, and cost five times as much. The nine course celebration menu did not have any dips. Everything was excellent, and every plate was... More

Dinner at the magical Mosaic was out of this world. The 9 course tasting menu with every dish more creative and spectacular than the previous. Food poetry. Really friendly and fabulously professional staff... most of all pixie-like chef Chantel Dartnall. The 9 course tasting menu was too much food. Next time I would rather try the 5 course. Local wine... More
