If you want to eat real good sushi or a red curry or a stir fry in a real Asian setting and you would also like generous portions as well as a reasonable price than this is the place to go. We have gone out of our way many times just to have a "pig out" session at Kamiya :-).... More

Quality sushi and great service. With great variety and something new every time. When they know your preference they will make you special orders and still part of the sushi buffet. Also starters included free. Were rolling home.

Always get a friendly welcome, great service and good sushi. Nice variety and the options on the "special" make it an excellent choice, Not only what is on the 'belt' but also what may be ordered off the menu.

This is a great little sushi restaurant. The food quality is excellent and always fresh. The white wines on offer are a bit limited. Well worth a visit.

Small, unpretentious, family run local Sushi restaurant. Sushi always fresh, service always great. Highly recommend the Chirashi Sushi.

This venue is located opposite the Rivonia Primary School and is decorated like a small tacky sushi place - which it is. The sushi is extremely mediocre and we questioned how fresh the fish that was being used was. Service - is in line with what was served - mediocre and do not see myself ever returning.

Had sushi here last week and was more disappointed I have ever been in sushi. Too much rice and in each portion and fish smelled a bit off. Furthermore there were a number of questionable ladies coming through here and it looks like a bit of a pickup location for guys with loose morals. Seriously unhappy and I would absolutely... More

My local option for sushi, frequent it often and find the food (primarily sushi, but also rice and noodle dishes) to be of a very good quality and very affordable. Very convenient and better than the surrounding (typically Asian) restaurants.

Kamiya has a unique sushi buffet with a selection of great dishes not typically found in the area. The hostess and sushi chef are very attentive, providing great food and prompt service. At the time, the all you can eat buffet is only R145, which also includes all you eat from their starter menu. Great value, and good quality sushi.... More
