We were there on a Saturday afternoon, dining outside, music was playing, and a buffet was available inside. Alcoholic beverages are served. Service was friendly, though scare, due to the high number of people dining. The food was authentic.

If you are planning to visit the Mandela House, please take the opportunity to indulge in some authentic Soweto cuisine. I would also recommend the local beer. As an added bonus, very talented street musicians perform on a regular basis.
