I always visit Biesmiellah whenever I am in Cape Town. They never disappoint! The food is delicious and the service excellent. They are also very good at handling dietary restrictions (vegetarian, lactose intolerance, gluten intolerance).

This is a Great little Cape Malay restaurant where you can eat delicious food in a pretty area of Cape Town. The staff are very friendly and helpful in advising you on selection of dishes. All food is very well prepared and spiced beautifully. Just fyi ..... this is an alcohol free restaurant run by Cape Malay muslims. Doesn't stop... More

Fantastic food in a authentic/famous restaurant , our walking tour guide suggested here for Cape Malay and local dishes . Please note this is a non alcohol eating experience and for us wasn't a problem , the food exceeded the need and was superb , Bobotie and Lamb dishes cooked to long standing recipes made the effort to come to... If you want delicious, authentic home-cooked local food with warm hospitality, this is absolutely the restaurant for you. Try Cape Malay dishes such as Denningvleis and Boboti, take in the gorgeous Table mountain and Bo Kaap neighborhood views, and don't forget to ask for a few recipe tips - the lovely owner is happy to share.

Easily accessible as on the main road of Bo Kaap. Menu has a variety of cuisines on offer. Try the Malay cuisine as the others are readily available at other venues. Prices are not hugely inflated so it won't cost an arm and leg for a family. Restaurant is clean. A good option to choose if in Bo Kaap Ps... More

We had lunch here with our family. The Place doesn't look very nice but the food is very good. Service was friendly and effective and the price level was reasonable. A good choice for lunch.

Coming from Asia who has tasted a variety of Malay food, this restaurant serves very nice Malay food in a different part of the world with a Cape town flavor to it. The bototie is also very nice just like what the other comments have mentioned. Also a clean, airy restaurant with good views of the Bo-Kaap colorful architecture. Worth... More
