We went for lunch. The staffs are friendly and the setting is nice with a great view of cape town. The pickle fish and chicken cape malay curry were delicious. It is worth to try!

People come for the view. But are pleasantly surprised by the food. Don't come on a windy day though....
The menu at the restaurant is simple, but done really, really well. We loved the burger especially! The service was very efficient and the setting alone is worth the trip. Beautiful views over Cape Town and the perfect spot for a casual breakfast or lunch.
Hats off to the great hostess who was so accommodating in seating us with our infant grandson! Very good service from friendly staff. Food was very good for most part and served nicely. To get there keep driving as far as you can go - don't park at the lowest lot unless you want a good hike to the restaurant... More

The waitress was very friendly and delivered our orders quickly. I had a cappuccino which was great and the carrot cake which was not. It... More
I can honestly say that I make better scones myself and I don't have to phone and book ahead. The restaurant does have great views of the Cape Flats and the Memorial is interesting. I can recommend the pot of tea!
When ever we go to Cape Town we like to go to this beautiful place. Unlike a lot of places in Cape Town, this place is not at all pretentious. A beautiful setting with ok food and disappointing service. My chicken pate on some cold meat platter was un-eatable.
Very nice cafe for drinks and light food, most welcome after completing a hike over Devil's Peak. Cheesecakes are a speciality.
I have been visiting the memorial with visiting friends for many years. The memorial itself is interesting with great views over the suburbs. But now the restaurant has changed hands, and it is difficult to fault it. Good menu choice, good service and great food
