They squeezed me into the bar area despite the fact that they were fully booked and I'm glad they did because the food I had (grilled fish) was perfectly cooked and presented. Staff really friendly despite being so busy. Great atmosphere!

Mussels were absolutely amazing. Calamari taco was nice and fresh. Seafood curry very tasty but unfortunate they left the fish skin on which we didn't like. Home made ice tea was very nice and not sweetened - exactly our taste.

We had a starter to share and both had a nice main meal. Our choice, one of the specialities seafood curry and the other, a beautifully cooked salmon. We were pleasantly surprised the food was very tasty and cooked to perfection. We loved the feel of this place. The restaurant supports local winemakers, the wine was excellent. The waitress was... This restaurant used to be one of my favourite Hermanus restaurants. However, the standard of food and service is no longer what it used to be. The avocado served with the Ritz starter was not ripe. The lamb roti has hardly any meat in it and the waitress failed to acknowledge my legitimate concerns. The seating is cramped with too... More

This is an very nice and intimate venue with great food. The service was a bit quick and felt slightly rushed but overall the evening was most enjoyable.

I was there for my first time in January and thought it was very overrated. I heard amazing stories of the food and was quite disappointed when my seared salmon got back over done. It was good but not what I expected, although the food portions was amazingly huge, which was very impressive. I will go back to give other... More

This is a cosy restaurant which is well run. We arrived at the venue which was very busy but our waitor was very good and our meal arrived in good time. The restaurant was very warm inside but once the blinds were open it was fine. We had an excellent meal.

We followed the advice of our guest house and made a booking for dinner to this small restaurant as it is very popular. The fish and chips of my husband was amazing and my line fish was the best I had in years. Good house wine too. Highly recommended.

Wow, the best beer battered fish and fish taco we have ever had! Our mussels in white wine was also the best we have ever had! If you visit Hermanus you can't do this restaurant only once, you have to do it a couple of times 😊
