The food came with pieces of metal in it! When we talk to who claimed to be the manager, he didn't even try to apologise but drunkenly waved his hand in the air & explained that this must be pieces of the metal sponge they use to clean the dishes with! We still laugh at his expression & tone but... More

As recommended by friends we had a take-out dinner from the only Indian restaurant in our town the other day. We all found our dishes do be outstandingly delicious! The Nan was very good, the jeera rice tasty and plentiful, the chicken tikka delicious, so was the channa masala (veg dish) and also the vegetable korma (although unfortunately only with... More

We spotted Raasoie on the way into Knysna and decided to go back for dinner, but ended up settling for take-aways. The palak paneer was delicious! Good naan and a very nice lassi.

I and my pal agree that this place makes a great curry, Rogan Josh curry, in particular. My wife and her friend on the other hand, disagree. They don't think much of the food, and that I think, is the story of Raasoie, it isn't a clear winner or loser in the food department. Hopefully that will change - I... More

We came to Raasoie because of the good food and service we usually receive in Port Elizabeth, but it was not the food or the service that let us down here but how poor and unhygienic the restaurant looks. We avoided the drinking glasses because the looked very dusty. The place is in a serious need of a revamp and... More

Had visited Knysna five years back on our honeymoon. Loved the Indian food they had given us there in fact it was probably the best we had in the tour. Lovely people, full of warmth and quality of food was good as well.

I visited the restaurant with my wife and three friends. The decor is outdated but the food was really good. My wife and I ate vegetarian meals which were very good. There is a large variety of vegetarian options. Our friends had various chicken dishes which they enjoyed.
