Classico is no more, they closed end of Sept. A new German restaurant will open later. Hope they are better

Just finished dinner at Classico and the only word to describe the food was rancid. I am pretty sure the steaks were pre-cooked and then frozen and then defrosted in the microwave before being served. The mash had a strange boarding school cabbage smell however...More
All four of us were pleased with our meals. Juicy steaks with hot crispy chips. Deliciously spicy lamb curry. Good sized portions. Service from Sharief and Lisa was excellent. Definitely coming back here again. However, we preferred the look of white tablecloths.
This restaurant at the knysna water front was one of the best value for money meals in knysna. It has daily specials and we had the rib special on Monday night. Brilliant. Well worth the effort of going out on cold winter nights!

Great food best steaks in a long time perfectly cooked well done chef Garth Good service all round BUT..... Restaurant lacking warmth and atmosphere would be an awesome place with some changes to the shop. Will definitely be back for the food!!!!
Nothing spectacular - rather plain and ordinary. The view is good, the interior okay - but the food is just ..... food. Also rather expensive for what you get!!!
