Not such an hidden gem anymore, very popular with locals and tourist who enjoy fabulous tasty food at a very reasonable price with excellent service from the family that run this restaurant, you are advised to book as it does get very busy.

Been to Gunthers many times over the years on our winter trips to Olhao and each time it is excellent. The set menu at lunch time is great value, and is different each time we go. The menu in the evening is varied and you...can guarantee will be lovely. You would struggle to find anywhere better to have lunch in the sun.More

Family run restaurant serving a very good selection of grilled fish with an excellent salad and washed down with a drink or two. Service from the family is excellent, no fussing here just good honest food.
