We went for a dinner. Restaurant is pretty, spacy. Food is good but price is too expensive, little portions.

Thank you for your comment. We would have liked to know what kind of food you ordered, since prices vary a lot depending on the type of dish you select. This happens because of the purchase price of raw materials, which is usually very high for fish and lower for meat and vegetables. We do have standards for dish portions,... More

We came after a whole day of sailing. Hungry, we searched for good quality restaurant and came here. We were served an appetizer very quickly and by doing this, the restaurant earned extra points, as we were really hungry. This was followed by a shrimp soup and a truffles and shrimp pasta. Simple, quick and tasty. Compliments also to the... More

As close to the highway as it can be, but a few meters below it. Nevertheless, the sound of traffic is not disturbing the cosy setting. We had very good home-made bread, especially the one with olives. A rolled one partially made with addition of squid ink was also a pleasant surprise. Octopus salad was simple but good, yet nothing... More

Grat place for dinning. That says it all! We were enjoying ourselves probably like never before. The owner is also the waiter and he has that sense to make the whole experience even better. It was like he was reading our minds, funny thing, we actually did not order anything, he just serves the food and we did not complain... More

People are very binary about this restaurant. I am one of those who did not like it. Serving staff (I think we were served by an owner) is trying to be helpful, but don't fall for it. Order what you want, not what you are being suggested. Starters are huge, even if they tell you otherwise. Taste is OK, but... More

It is a fish and meat restaurant. Once upon a time it was a very good and rafinate restaurant, but success and too many people transformed it into a high quality commercial place. We ordered fish menu. A raw and cold appetizer for one and a salad, a first plate of spaghetti with lobster and "wild" local asparagus (bruscandoli) for... More

Hello there.

With the arrival of year 2017 and with a whole new management, Al Mulin will get a makeover, a new image. Our restaurant, a renovated former (but still active) mill, located along the river Rizana, surrounded by rustic greenery.
Kind and helpful waiters will serve you the best wines of the surrounding vineyards. Experienced cooks will offer you a range of delicious fresh prepared meals. We offer meat and fish dishes (our specialty), but we’ve also expanded the menu with brand new vegan dishes. With the changing of the seasons and associated celebrations we regularly supplement our regular offer with a seasonal one – spring’s asparagus, summer’s expanded range of fish dishes, autumn’s St. Martin's offer of game, pumpkin and mushrooms, with a focus on white truffles, and winter’s holiday offer. You will be able to complete the experience by candlelight with our gorgeous homemade desserts.
In addition to our delicious meals our esteemed guests gladly choose to return again and again because of the pleasant relaxed atmosphere and ambience. We offer 350 seats indoors and 200 seats on the covered terrace with a beautiful green meadow. It is because of our atmosphere that we are often chosen by larger groups, for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, as well as for business lunches and celebrations. In late spring we’ll be opening the House of Hansel and Gretel, where we’ll engage playful children, so to make sure the whole family gets to truly enjoy the experience.
But please, before you leave we will be grateful, if you’ll be so kind to use our freely accessible WiFi to leave a review and a comment - both on our Facebook page as anyone of the many "foodie" websites.

Come and let yourself be seduced - we will make your visit worthwhile.
