Lovely spot

A lovely little spot… bloke on the door was a little pushy… even for Turkey 😂 But was pleasantly surprised by the set up… nice spot with a lovely view. We initially booked for the live music dinner, which they do regularly. We saw a live saxophonist, 80s tribute and Belly Dancers advertised while we were there. Only visited for the saxophonist but was a really nice enhancement to a sunset meal, which the sunset is amazing to see from here. Food was lovely, good portions, fresh and even made to order. After looking the the menu, the missus decided didn’t like much on the menu but the staff and chef were happy to make something bespoke, which was refreshing for Turkey. Would definitely recommend going here… different, good food, amazing views and live music… as close as to a UK beach restaurant you will find.

Good In the Daytime& For The Views!

Tiki is ran by the most lovely couple, and there’s a few faces we have known for years (Morris definitely being the same cheeky chappy). The drinks here are goooood - strong but not “blow your head off” excessive which some bars have done this year. We had lunch here twice which worked out at £20 for 2 meals & a drink each to take time to enjoy the views and watch the paragliders land. As for the evenings, we can’t say the music is to our taste. There were a couple occasions we left after one just because we didn’t really enjoy the music as it’s quite bass heavy and samey, but we are rock/80s lovers so can’t please everyone! (Not complaining at all!) But anyone in Olu is definitely worth visiting this bar - lovely people, and not to mention the main hidden gem; Papa! He is just under tiki in a little kebab shop, please do pay him a visit if you’re able to - he is so lovely and appreciates any visitors, plus the kebabs are incredible!

We ate here most nights as the food and staff were great. The men were very respectful and the food was 10/10 every time. I could only eat soup due to surgery and they bulked it up to fill me up. Defo work a visit to see the sun set. Will defo go back.😁

We came based on recommendations for a sunset view. It wasn’t that good. The view was better down on the beach. Food was at best average. Steak was small. 8 chips. Loads and loads of mushrooms (I ordered steak in creamy mushroom and garlic sauce). Husband had a salad. Loads of lettuce and not much else. The other meals for the rest of the party were late and then wrong. To top that for 2 steaks, a chicken and halloumi salad and children’s chicken nuggets and chips with 3 soft drinks worked out at £75.

Very welcoming initially and that’s where it ends . Starter balloon bread as another review mentions didn’t arrive as promised and arrived with the meal . Not good . Hunters chicken - tiny portion . More like a sparrow . Plates took an age to clear . It was like we were invisible Not worth the waste of an evening Need to try harder as their waiters are dreadful

Two separate visits

We visited here twice, the first visit I a had a T bone which was fantastic, on the second visit my steak was over cooked (asked for rare) , they cooked another and the middle of the steak was stone/fridge cold, I complained and they re cooked it. By this time everyone else had finished eating, it spoilt the evening but the staff were very apologetic. Great location with fantastic views and good prices

Fantastic evening with a beautiful view

We have stayed in Olu Deniz six times and have been to Tiki many times, this year we were greeted with a warm welcome by Sedat who got us in to our favourite spot a table on the roof top level with a beautiful view over the bay. Zak the manager is always ready to go above and beyond to make sure you have a great time and nothing ever seems to much trouble. The food is always amazing and good value for money. You'd never get the same quality in the UK for the price! I'd recommend anything off the traditional Turkish menu and the steaks and seafood are amazing! They have a wide selection of drinks on offer far too many to mention so catering for all tastes, though I'd recommend the cocktails with the cheeky names... we've tried lots of them and none disappoint! All the waiting staff are attentive and enthusiastic and great with children, even managed to get mine to eat some veggies! They also have the sweetest dog Trixie who is always up for fusses and a scratch behind the ear! We're already looking forward to seeing everyone again next year! Ian, Jasmine and Arabella

Rude staff

We took friends here because we seen so many good reviews. Service was very slow, when drinks arrived my wine glass had a lip stick mark on it, i showed it to the waiter and his exact words were "its not my problem its the bar staff" I was horrified and asked if he could kindly change to a clean glass. He came back and held the glass up and said "you checking" he was opening our wine bottle and the children were watching and we looked and he said very cheekily "why are you all looking at me" I have never experienced such rudeness before. Our meal took so long to arrive and by this point the music was so loud we couldn't hear each other without shouting. Meal arrived and it was very very poor, we told the waiter and he took 10% off our bill. It was so disappointing as it was our friends last night with us before going home. We definitely wouldn't return again.

Avoid at all costs!

Absolutely vile. My girlfriend and I ordered a cheeseburger and chips at lunch time thinking ‘surely you can’t go wrong with a cheeseburger’… we were sorely mistaken. The chips were under cooked. The burger bun was stale and I questioned whether the burger itself was even cooked properly 🤢 And to top it all off the prices were extortionate. Would have got a better burger at Maccies!!

Best meal of holiday!

We started just coming for a drink on the roof terrace and it was such a lovely view, so busy, so we came back later for a meal and OMG best meal of the holiday! We shared the sharing mixed grill for two and it’s the best value and best quality one we have had on holiday. Every meat was so flavoursome, tender and so much of it. Enough for three for sure! Excellent value, presentation and evening as we stayed till close almost with the live dancers and great staff. Definitely worth a visit!

Disappointed and ripped off.

Went to this bar because of good reviews. While we were there a photographer came to our table and took a picture of our group, he came back about 15 minutes later with the picture which my wife liked so I bought it, he took my money but never came back with the change. When I came to pay the bill I mentioned this to the member of staff, he said he would go and sort it out, came back a few minutes later and said the photographer didn’t work for them and he didn’t know who he was, this I did not believe for one moment, this photographer obviously takes pictures in there all the time. I asked the staff member if he could take the cost of my change off our bill but he refused. I will not be visiting this bar again and would not recommend it to anybody.

Awful service, poor food, customer service non existent

Not a good experience :( we were seated upstairs (2 flights for anyone with mobility issues) the stairs need attention, lots of repairs so really quite dangerous (in the UK they’d be condemned !) we were given drinks menus but had to ask for the food menu. It was 9 pm so not late to eat really so no idea why we weren’t given one. No prices on my menu at all but we weren’t worried so went ahead and ordered. We ordered a pizza and another main course. The pizza was bland, no seasoning at all and swimming in grease. Most of it was left. The staff are really inexperienced and to be honest the customer service is non existent. Most of them are teenagers. Not one question was asked about why 3/4 of the pizza was left. The toilets are disgusting too. We paid the bill and left without leaving a tip. First time in all our visits to Olu Deniz that we’ve done that. Go to Buzz or Hangout or Sey to see how it should be done.

Great atmosphere but average for everything else

It was a wonderful atmosphere! there was apprehension as there was a very eager person outside, trying to encourage us in every time we walked past and we were worried it would be loud and unpleasant. However, we went to the second floor and it was actually just a light jazz. They also offer sisha which I didn’t try, but a friend I was with did and said that it was good although it’s about 350 TL / £17) is the drinks were nice, but the service was actually very slow, considering it felt quite empty. I would still visit if you get the chance as it’s nice, but there’s no need to go out of your way.

Awful Brekkie

Me and my friend had a late breakfast here a few days!! Honestly this had to be the worse full English Brekkie I have ever been served anywhere. Awful hard fried eggs on top of dried toast (no butter on the side) tasteless sausages with under cooked fatty bacon. Under cooked mushrooms and a slice of tomato. Beans OK but not the best and a batter covered thing that was unsubscribe able. And to top it all the put awful red sauce into a heinz ketchup bottle. Nobody asked us if we enjoyed it as they could see by how much we left that we did not. Me personally will avoid having brekkie there again. Staff were very nice .

Great place

First time at the Tiki roof top restaurant and it definitely will not be the last!. From being greeted at the entrance and and very through chrck for current Covid procedures(including a shoe disinfectant), we had a great table overlooking the beach. Fantastic sunset and atmosphere. Food was great, a mixed cold starter, followed by lamb shish, really good and very reasonably priced. We will certainly return, and recommend this for or future guests.
