Our Peruvian favourite, even it's not a fashion place. It was restored and expanded some years ago. Don't miss the Cebiche, Carapulcra and suspiro limeño!

Had lunch there with my wife, food was ok Except the parihuela- had tasted parihuela Before in many places and this one was definitely a very bad one- lack of seasoning and way too much corn starch in the broth, both my wife and I got sick after.

A nice traditional peruvian restaurant close to Belgrano's Chinatown, this place its a nice option for people that want to try something different and special. The restaurant was renovated and its well maintain with lots of tables available, 2 massive ACs, nice decorations and a well organized kitchen. Service its very good with lots of waiters willing to introduce you... More

I had never had peruvian food before going to Contigo, so keep that in mind. I enjoyed their food, the ceviche was particularly good. I have to complain about the service though. I mean, yes, the restaurant was full and we were a big party of people, but we had to wait over an hour to be served. Price was... More

Not sure if I am getting more critical or if Contigo is changing its focus. Have been coming here on each visit to a Buenos Aires for its pis of sours, but they have got smaller and sweeter, and the food has become pile it up and fill them up. With less taste. Difficult to know what we were ordering... More

A nice alternative to steakhouses and such like, this Peruvian restaurant near Belgrano C station is a gem. Very friendly staff, delicious food and very reasonably priced. A keeper.

The place is quite nice despite of the interior décor, that could be more creative. We ordered ceviche and it was really good, considering the taste, the size of the portion and the price. Worths the visit!

I've only ever had the jalea here but that's because it's always good: A big pile of lightly breaded and lightly fried seafood, never greasy, on top of cancha (Peruvian corn nuts, bascially), potatoes and sprinkled with raw onions and sometimes cilantro. A big meal! The atmosphere is a bit sterile - it's just a big white room -- and... More

Staying in Belgrano

Neighbourhood Profile
As one of the main commercial hubs of Buenos Aires, Belgrano has something for everyone. The myriad of shop windows in Cabildo Ave. will draw you in, but it is Chinatown — an area of no more than two square blocks — which will keep you hooked. Crowned by an ornate arch marking its entrance and filled with small stores packed to the brim, it is a place where colour and scent emanate from every corner, particularly during the Chinese New Year when they spill over to surrounding areas. But if you prefer a quieter atmosphere, the residential quarter of Belgrano is the perfect destination. This section of town features some of the most magnificent mansions in the city, spread out on cobbled streets lined by tall, majestic trees: a true feast for the eyes.
