Went there twice, food was so so. As the name suggest it's Asian cuisine (albeit not authentic), they do have decent sushi though. The restaurant some nice outdoor seating where you can do plenty of people watching (most Argentinians favorite pastime). The restaurant inside converts into a disco pub at night on Fridays and weekends.

Our hotel sent us to this area and when we arrived we were disgusted at the sight of TGI Fridays and McDonalds. I used my phone to check for something not American near by and it directed me to Asia de Cuba. We sat outside on this warm sunny afternoon and shared a decent bottle of wine, but the food... More

We found a table, outside in the sidewalk. It was a nice experience, great sushi and good service. Is not cheap but it was not so expensive (250 $arg / person). It was a warm night in January. The best was the views we had of Catalinas Area, restaurants and the docks of Puerto Madero. Good place for sushi!

I was in BA for work and I have been there one night because I saw a lot of people inside. Basically you pay for the nice location. The food is average, served as quickly as possible and the waitress was not smiling at all. Prices are quite high for both food and drinks. The only positive thing is that... More

Very good restaurant in Puerto Madero if your are looking for some hot spot, trendy place - not Argentinian food.

Remembering the wonderful meals we had at Asia de Cuba in Manhattan 20 years ago, when we saw the restaurant in Puerto Madera we tried it for lunch. The lunch menu was about 50% sushi. We tried a mix of sushi and hot food - all of which was rather average. In the daylight it was evident how tired the... More

The service was very slow even though the restaurant was almost empty. When trying to get the waitresses attention they seemed to deliberately avoid eye contact and keep walking. The food was average and for a restaurant that advertises Asian food there was only a small selection of sushi that was average at best, along with pasta and meats that... More

I great place to go for dinner or for dancing late at night. It is adjacent to the Hilton Hotel in Puerto Madero. During the weekend lots of youngsters dance the night away there.

This is a very nice and well decorated restaurant. After a time it turns into a disco. The food was good, I mean the meat was just perfect but everything else was a little to greasy. If you are used to eating heavily oily food you will love it. The price is ok compared to Brazil, but a little to... More

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighbourhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighbourhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolise this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
