La Bistecca is a buffet that will satisfy everyone, from pasta and pizzas to sushi and meats. Very popular with the locals.

I came here three times already on special occasions. The quality here never failed me. When seated, you are given a plate of freshly made, delicious bread. Afterwards, the varieties available are enough to satisfy any cravings: sushi, italian, argentine, european. There's even a great selection of salads available! I especially enjoyed the chocolate and dulce de leche fountains available... More

I decided to celebrate my birthday because I remember...years ago...were amazing. This time, I feel regret. Inside the place is under construction but you will not see from outside then, the quality of food is not good as it used to be. Buenos Aires is full of good gourmet experiences...go for it!!! It is a standard all you can eat... More

We appreciated the fact the staff didn't charge our 20-months baby even if he had some food. Apart from that, expect a gargantuan feast of vegetables, salads, cheeses, delicatessen, meat (tons of meat), pastas, pizzas, fruits, chocolate, cookies... after a day of visiting, i was hungry and had 6 plates, about to explode but happy...!

Great selections of food. One can choose from all kinds of pasta, meats, cold cuts, cheeses, and desserts. The bread is wonderful. Comfortable setting, excellent service and a nice view of the harbor. It offers valet parking.

Our Uber driver recommended this over Siga de Vaca (Follow the Cow). It is a great value, especially the wine. Make sure you don't eat too much bread or salad! Save room for the meat! Dinner for 2 with a bottle of wine was $75 USD.

This was probably the third restaurant we ate in while in BA. We liked this the best of the three because it was not pretentious, and the selections were diverse and very good! Great view and attentive service. Apparently it is a custom to bring a bottle of wine home after the meal. Nice!

It is a buffet place, with sushi a variety of cold dishes, Argentinian meat and pasta. The quality of food is really poor, sushi was old, potatoes were not well boiled, pizza was burned, potato gnocchi made just with flour... to resume a complete disaster, I will never come back again and I'm not recommending this place at all..

An included dinner on a Gate 1 Tour. This is an excellent restaurant, not to be missed in BA. There's a huge selection of everything from cheeses to veggies & more, followed by waiters with shish kebobs of assorted meats that melt in your mouth!

I do not usually write restaurant reviews, but La Bistecca deserves one. Originally I visited based on the recommendation of Tim Ferriss - however I will always return based on the service/food. It is a fine-dining experience. Service is excellent (from greeting, to the breads, to new plates/silverware each time you get up). Buffet has variety and quality (from soups... More

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighbourhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighbourhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolise this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
