I am a client of Zum Edelweiss since 1963. In my early years as professional because it is close to the Courts and I am a lawyer. It was a great meeting point after work to have lunch together attorneys. In those days beer was clear, tasty and cold, the german meals delicious and the apfelstrudel marvelous. When married and... This is timeless classic, very traditional, particularly for late eating after the theatre. Dishes are plentiful and with very good quality. The gratin ravioli are just lovely

I went with friends before going to the theatre ( it is open for very early dinner). The food was good, beer excellent, service great and the ambiance is vintage German restaurant. They even bring the butter in little curls like they did before.

This is a traditional very good restaurant in Buenos Aires. The tongue vinaigrette is excellent and so are the daily specials.

I love German food. For the life of me I cannot understand all the great reviews this place has received. It is not what you would call typical German food. In fact, whatever type of restaurant you want to call it, I do not think the food was good or even so-so. If I were you I would skip it... More

We visited the Restaurant for an evening meal. We were given a menu in english and spanish with a long list of dishes but no prices. We asked for a spanish menu and found there the usual list of daily recommendations which were missing in the tourist menu. Due to this attempted rip off we left the place without eating,... More

If you are expecting real German cuisine, please skip the place. The fact, which should warn me immediately, was that menu didn’t include prices of individual courses. I’ve ordered wurst with sauerkraut, a typical German food, always delicious from street vendors everywhere in Germany. I’ve got a weird-tasting lukewarm sausage with equally lukewarm cabbage that was on the contrary utterly... More
