a buzzy fresh restaurant with a mix of fusion Asian food. A good if slightly noisy atmosphere and an international clientele. not cheap but good value and fresh and clean food which made a break from the overwhelmingly red meat parilla fare that make up much of the BA restaurant scene. Would recommend..

I LOVED this place. The food is absolutely amazing. The mix of flavours still make my mouth water. I'm a lover of East Asian food, and this really hit me at the core of my craving. Loved it. Still feel like if I go back to Buenos Aires (which I will), I'll have to go back. This was a fave... More

We all love the kilos of fine red meat every restaurant seems to serve up here but your stomach and taste buds deserve a break. Sunae Asian Catina does the trick, perfectly capturing the vivid, fresh food of south east Asia. And at last something close to real spice (that doesn't mean heat per se - but layers of spices... This was a highlight of our trip in Buenos Aires, having lots of vegetarian options and accommodating for gluten free diet. Highly recommended.

If you are desperate for asian food in Buenos Aires, this is a good place to satisfy the need. The place is very beautiful, chill, they have good wine. Food is good, not 100% authentic though. I was missing the vietnamiese cuisine. I put average because the value for money is not so good.

We enjoy an incredibly delicious, creative, and fun meal at this wonderful restaurant. We were staying Palermo Soho which has may wonderful restaurants. Sunae Asian Cantina is a few blocks outside of the Soho section and well worth the visit! The owner used to serve customers in her private dining room three nights a week and has branched out to... Over-priced pan-asian food dressed up to fool an Argie. If you want an authentic SEA food experience, there are much more authentic restaurants run by ACTUAL immigrants from SEA who cook with authenticity. The chef here, Sunae is a cultural appropriator. Note that this review was taken down by the premises. Don't be fooled

It was probably the best meal I have ever had in BA. Being a fan of asian food, I can't believe I have only now discovered this nice little restaurant. We shared four dishes between three and each one was unbelievably flavored.

A good (but not amazing) Asian restaurant. It is a good option for vegetarians -not many places to get tofu in BA. Having said that my husband thought tofu could have been crisper and sauce a bit too sweet. My prawn glass noodle with ginger dish was good and freshly cooked.Tasty but could have been spicier for my taste. Key... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
