I hope anyone that has eaten here has had asado somewhere else because this food is the worst I have seen in Argentina. I love Argentine Parilla and everything Meat!! This place is a very bad example of how they cook beef and it should be ashamed to serve the garbage they do. Its expensive and BAD. The city should... More

Had dinner here last night and was very impressed with what I got for the equivalent of £12. And a decent Cab Sauv for £8. Everything was very good, especially the fish a la plancha, though as you might expect, the beef was not the best cuts. But for that money and eat all you can, do you really expect... More

The food is ok, good salad, but bad meat, and absolutely overpriced. The sign in front of the restaurant promises complete buffet at fixed price, but at the end you find out that you have to pay an amount for service and is obliged to buy a beverage. So at the and the total payment is at least 30% higher... More

Nice decorated restaurant with a huge selection of steaks and chops. Our waiter spoke English and was attentive and knowledgeable. Our experience in Argentina is that they tend to cook more rare than the USA. So medium is really rare. My wife ordered rare and got almost raw and I went with medium and got rare. This was our experience... More

We were there for buffet dinner. The restaurant was clean and quiet. There was live singing on the spot too. In terms of the food variety, it may not be the best but in terms of grilled meat quality , it's very good . The whole meal including desserts are 360 pesos per person, which is a very good deal!... I have read some of the negative reviews with total disbelief. The washrooms are spotless and working properly. The staff was great but do speak very little English. It is cash only - no big deal - they repeatedly warned me about that. Salads bar was fresh and I observed them bringing fresh offerings. The lamb is roasting on an... More

I love this place. The buffet is good and has a lot to choose from, but the main attraction of course, is the grill. There is so much variety of meat to choose from and you can just point and take. Don't forget to try their molten cheese! The staff were so friendly, but maybe because we were two solo... More

So many restaurants to choose from in Puerto Madero... we opted for Brasas Argentinas because it was a bit more economical and didn't seem as stuffy as some adjacent restaurants. Wonderful grilled meats and fishes. A nice selection of salads and other vegetable and prepared dishes. Sushi and pasta were good, but not standout. Desserts were standout. Nice selection of... It was my first time in Argentina, and I can say that food, craft and activities is really cheap. Most of all they have a deep connection with Italy and I can tell because they have what is typical of Argentina: barbecues (meat), but also, pasta al dente (but really al dente, so be careful, maybe is too stiff), and... We were yesterday november 6th at 8 pm. Bad cold dishes and salads. Cookers are unpolite and rudes like wild bears. Only lomb, salmon and pork steak are good but you have to wait for that bad cookers to grill for you with a bad behaviour and they complain if you eat more. Payment only in Cash and they do... More

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighbourhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighbourhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolise this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
