Wanted a coffee and stumbled on to this cafe. Located on the main Street but away from the center. Good coffee and the cheesecake was very good. My Spanish wasn't great but managed well. Would recommend.

My hotel served no breakfast,so very near it was this nice place called Tienda de Cafe, it seems there are several in Buenos Aires. Coffee and breakfast was nice and tasty, service was nice as well,....will be back, and prices are very reasonable.
actually, there's a starbucks a few meters away on Elcano, but I found sitting at Tienda de Café a much better choice....a more 'local' experience....basically ordering a cortado with medialunas, sit there reading the paper...then order some sandwiches de miga...nobody bothering you, everybody just chilling...More
Wonderful cafe with wifi, serves nice breakfasts, light lunch entres and wonderful coffee and tea. Recommend this for Breakfast and afternoon coffee.
