It is certainly a Trattoria: Italian food, abundant in the portion, not fancy, not great or sharp flavors, spirit of home made food. The staff is very kind but a bit disordered: they forget part of the order, they do not pay attention to details nor are continuously checking if every thing is fine; but always with a smile! We... We went to Olivetti and had an excellent meal. There were several great options on the menu that told me we would be coming back. Until we got the bill. While the price for the food was in line with most restaurants, the cost for the table service and beverages was outrageous. We did not order wine, as there was... More

Very nice tratoria in Buenos Aires. Always full from the people of the beatutiful neighborhod. The pasta is home made. The bucatinis excellent; the "crudo di pesce" very nice. And the deserts also. The gnoquis not so good. Cerviño Is a beatiful street easy to walk. I highly recomen this restaurant. The wine list needs to be improved with different... More

Best pasta In buenos aires. Cooked "al dente" and with a rich variety of sauces, most of them not with a tomato base. Great risotto and good selection of wines ( many italian). You can't skip dessert: tiramisù Excellent terrace and street tables for summer nights. Very professional and kind service. Reasonable prices.

I had lunch with friends. I think the place is beautiful with a really good ambience, the service was good and the waitress were very friendly. The food was good, we had lasagna (I think it was dry, it didn't had the tomato sauce between the layers, just the beef and white sauce) and risotto. Definitely coming back.

We had excellent lunch here while out walking around BA. Husband had green salad with fresh fish, I had raviolis with a broccoli cream sauce. A surprisingly tasty wine accompanied the meal. After checking the label, I went looking for the wine in a nearby wine shop and purchased it for about $15 USD. Considering that this was an almost-complimentary... More

The food was very good (had pasta and a salad) and the waitress was very friendly and efficient. That was a 4* for me. What made it 3: - Don't go to the men's toilet as the smell will kill you. -The guys that should welcome and place their guests are unfriendly, inefficient and just not customer focused. The only... Walking around one of my favorite neighbourhoods, around 6pm, we decided to have a bite and choose this lovely set up place in a corner of a boulevard. The place was almost empty with most of the people having only drinks and it was a week day, so try to find a table outside and seat waiting for service. Before... More

In a city with thousands of Italian restaurants, it is difficult to rise above the crowd. This place has an excellent corner location in Palermo, with a convenient terrace. Staff was very good and the menu very appealing. However, the food disappointed us. It simply was not as great as the menu and the prices would make you believe. It's... More

Chose this place for a Sunday lunch while walking around the neighboorhood. Crowds + look of dished drew us in. Service was very good, as was ambiance. Food was just good, we were somewhat disappointed. The best dish we had was the burrata, not the more ellaborate options. Main courses (rissoto and gnocchi) OK, panna cota bad.

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
