We wanted to sample a Puertas Cerradas restaurant while in Buenos Aires after our tour guide told us something about them. With so much choice we asked our hotel concierge to recommend one so he made us a reservation at Ocho Once. He was hitting the nail on the head with every single recommendation so we trusted him. He told... More

A superb 'closed door' dining experience. Truly first class food at an unbeatable price. I can't understand why this place isn't booked up weeks in advance, but take advantage of the fact that it's not!

It is thanks to Tripadvisor I discovered this restaurant. More than a restaurant, you feel at home with the " behind closed doors " concept. French and demanding ( I admit :-), I have not been disappointed. The cuisine is refined , authentic, flavors associated divinely . I really recommend this place. Gonzalo Bazterrica is a true "Chef" , a... More

We had the pleasure of dining here two weeks ago. They serve up the sort of meal you are fortunate to eat once in a lifetime. The ambience, food, service, and wine pairings create a memorable experience you will never forget!

If you are looking for a really "Top Spot" in Buenos Aires, than is this the right place to be 👍🏼. 5 Ways very well combined with an excellent taste of Argentinean products. Not always Steak and Papas Frittas. The Chef is a bit of an Artist who creates every week new fantastic dishes. The Wine was fabulous. It was... More

There are at least 50 "closed doors" restaurants in Buenos Aires, so is hard to choose and rate them. At Ocho Once, dinner is served 4 nights a week in Chef Gonzalo's cozy house in Palermo. I'm not going into details because the menu changes every week (you can see it on their Facebook page), but the food was very... More

We stumbled across this restaurant two years ago and decided to try it again. It was amazing. Every course was tasty and delicious and the steak while not traditionally prepared was one of the best I've ever had. A++
