The restaurant /cafe was nothing special. I went there during weekday around 2PM, and it was not full. I was going to have a coffee on the rooftop cafe, which was nothing to write home about. I sat down and waited for quite a while, the waitress passed me by at least three times but didn't bother to even give... More

Looking for simplicity - on a rooftop terrace to relax in the sunshine then this is a really chilled out cafe/ restaurant. No menus, just a verbal list of a few dishes of the day (so you know it's going to be fresh). Simple foods, very tasty, very relaxed, great place to chill.

This cafe/bar/restaurant is next to a delightful bookstore. It feels like a converted apartment complex from 1920s Paris. Very cozy and romantic. My husband's coffee was delicious and my martini was perfect. (he needed a pick-me-up and I was already in cocktail mode). Both drinks hit the spot. We would have loved to have come back for breakfast but we... More

This cafe and bistro with a long narrow floor and high lofted ceilings feels like something out of Paris in the 1920s, in fact some of the decor actually matches that style and what's more it's attached to a really charming bookstore. Truth be told we didn't eat here so I can't review the food, but my wife had a... More

One of the most beautiful terraces of Palermo, away from the noise of the other restaurants in the area. A menu is not very varied, but very good care. Great to go on a summer night. Caution!: do not accept credit cards

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
