I like this restaurant, the ambiance is very Italian with pictures from all mafia movies. I loved cream cheese with olives with the courtesy bread We asked for caneloni with spinach and ricotta and it was delicious, tomato sauce for spaghettis was soft and rich. I asked veggies grilled and I liked Tiramisu was the best!!! If you like pasta... More

Went here with a friends on a Friday night. Showed up around 9:30pm with no reservation and got a table upstairs. Our server was a young kid, probably had a few too many tables but he was a good kid and worked very hard. There were 6 of us so he was busy. Appetizers were lovely and I had lamb... More

The food is really good. We had four different entrees and everyone was happy. The anti pasta starter was amazing. Next time I'm only having wine and that! It's a lot if food. The restaurant is really adorable inside and service was great too.

It's funny how people in B.A. eat so late, and Americans eat so early - this place opened at 8:00 PM and was immediately packed full with Americans! Not until around 9:30 when we left were locals trickling in. Very nice food, well presented, and an interesting and comical menu with a mafia (movie mafia) theme. Music was a bit... More

Normally, it take a lot to get me into a restaurant that has a gimmicky theme. But the desire for Italian that was not pizza-centered drove me to try Arte de Mafia. The service was efficient and light. Our waitress actually smiled frequently. I had the osso buco and others in my group ordered a stuffed pasta. Both were very... More

Excellent little Italian restaurant in Palermo. They enlarged the selection of wines, and have more variety of options. Rabbit ravioli and goat cheese gnocchi are unique. The most delicious cannolis I had in Buenos Aires. I recommend that if you want to order entry, share, because the pasta dishes are big. Regarding seccondo piati, the osobuco is a great choice.... We went on a Saturday night, no reservation. We quickly found a table and received our menu's with some delay. The waitress was not really intrested in giving us a pleasant night as service was really slow. Once the food arrived we this issues seemed just details as the pasta is delicious and the sauces were fantastic! But alas, when... More

We bumped into this restaurant by chance walking through Palermo. The place is small but cozy and it's decorated with an Italian style. The menu has the perfect size not too short not too long so you can find a dish for every taste. As a pasta-lover I chose the lasagna without even thinking. Its flavour was amazing! You can... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
