In a neighborhood flooded with gourmet hamburger and new cuisine kind of places la lechuza is like an oasis of tradition and good meat. I had an excellent morcilla and then bife de chorizo at very reasonable price.

Beef was ok, not great. Service was efficient but not particularly efficient (even though there were only 3 other diners). Really hot (no air con).

La Lechuza is very close to where we stay when in Buenos Aires, and for several years it was an old favourite where we'd eat a couple of times per week. On our return this year we noticed that there had been a radical change...More

This place is amazing and surprisingly cheap. Some of the best steaks I've had in Buenos Aires. They'll also make the steaks quite rare if you stress jugoso.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a meal here recently. I love my steak so ordered the bife de chorizo (half size) cooked medium. It came out as ordered and incredibly tender and tasty!! Was the first good steak I had had in months. The half...More

This bodegon has good food at a very inexpensive price. We got two entrées, two main courses and a bottle of Malbec for less than 400 pesos. The food was good and the service friendly. The place was full of locals, we were the only...More
