We walked into this restaurant because the sign said Best Pizza since 1949. The sign was true. The pizza was different than anything we have had and truly yummy. We ordered a small pepperoni to share. It came with large chunks of pepperoni, tomato olives and a very good cheese mix. It was more than enough for two. Add two... More

After a month in San Telmo, this has become our "go to" pizza place. We have eaten in the restaurant and taken the pizza home. Our favorite has tomatoes and green olives on it. The crust is crisp, the seasoning sprinkled on top is super tasty, and the people who work here are very nice. Enjoy!

Without any doubt, the best empanadas in town. Thin and delicate crust and rich full interior. Confirmed my two local taxi drivers / one of the best in town. Their pizzas are also great, fair price. The service however could be nicer.

There are excellents pizzerias in Buenos Aires. This is not a good example. It seems like fake pizza. Run away from Los Talentos, you'll have a wrong impression of a real pizzeria.

This place was so good we went back twice during our stay as we knew we'd be guarateed of a nice meal Pizza had didn't have a lot of toppings but was super tasty and cheesy and the empanadas were moist and full of chunks of meat. Inexpensive, quick service and a large bottle of beer to quench the thirst... More

We went here for dinner as a family, and it turned out to be a good choice. We didn't have to limit ourselves to just one type of pizza, but instead you can order individual slices, which allows you to mix things up quite a bit. The fugazetta and four cheese slices were especially good.

4 of us shared 2 pizzas (cheese, onion & olive. The other ham, tomato, olive, cheese). Both were delicious, especially the crisp crust, and we couldn't finish it all. Breakfast? We washed it down with beer, and left pleased. It was a great value for a yummy meal. (Way better than the place across the street.)

Ate there while visiting Feria San Telmo on Sunday. Friendly help, very fine pizza, argentine style, which I like, but my adult son still prefers US methods. I had an anchovy pizza which was great, big anchovies, lots of cheese and moderate sauce which suits me perfectly. My son had a cheese and ham pizza which had a dominant look... More

Stopped by this San Telmo 'fast food' restaurant for a quick bite knowing that were going to have a much later dinner. We grabbed 3 empanadas, a veggie, chicken and carne. All were very good though the veggie was a little bland. The chicken was good and had green olives inside, a nice surprise! Good for quick fix!

this is a great little place to get out of the hustle and bustle of the market...and enjoy a great empanada (i like the beef, but the ham and cheese - wow) and with a drink is only 40 peso. place is clean, friendly, nice atmosphere. the pizza looked good but i was all about the empanada

Staying in San Telmo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Telmo
Characterized by cobblestones and narrow streets, San Telmo is defined by the tango, the dance that made Buenos Aires world-famous. Tango is a fusion of many different cultures: a true child of immigration, much like the city itself. Nowadays, it comes alive after dark in the milongas (dance parties) attended by both locals and visitors alike, who dance until the wee hours of the morning. During the day, the antique shops and classic cafés and bars around Plaza Dorrego dominate the scene. The emblematic Bar Plaza Dorrego, with its green awnings, checkered tile floors, and wooden interiors, takes you back in time the moment you step inside. For true porteño traditions, San Telmo is the place to be.
