Close to our hotel, in a nice neighborhood. Tasty food, specially the pasta. Good service and nice atmosphere.

We stopped by the first time for coffee and some crossiants and everything was fine. A couple of days later we stopped by for a late lunch, and the results were mixed, the bife chorizo was over cooked and not very tasty, but the sandwich was ok, so stick to the simple stuff and you will be ok.

Pepper is a resraurant near our home. We have visited it a couple of times to either have family lunch or dinner. The food is acceptable but the service is usually hideous. You have to wait for ages for the server to come (if you are willing to wait for 20 minutes... And even then you might be continued to... More

We had breakfast here - because it's near to where we were staying and was marked on the map by our apartment owner. Friendly service, food just what we were expecting. Very happy.

I ordered a big salad which was described in the menu as a salad with 8-10 ingredients, but you may only choose 5 of them. The carrots and corn tasted old and dry, tomatos, eggs and the 4 green leaves I found were okay. Despite the promise of he waiter that they had fresh mint, I got a terrible lemonade... More

Staying in Belgrano

Neighbourhood Profile
As one of the main commercial hubs of Buenos Aires, Belgrano has something for everyone. The myriad of shop windows in Cabildo Ave. will draw you in, but it is Chinatown — an area of no more than two square blocks — which will keep you hooked. Crowned by an ornate arch marking its entrance and filled with small stores packed to the brim, it is a place where colour and scent emanate from every corner, particularly during the Chinese New Year when they spill over to surrounding areas. But if you prefer a quieter atmosphere, the residential quarter of Belgrano is the perfect destination. This section of town features some of the most magnificent mansions in the city, spread out on cobbled streets lined by tall, majestic trees: a true feast for the eyes.
