Wanted a quick bite f on our hotel. Went on phone and saw this had great ratings. Walked in and there is one table to eat, so we figured we'd take it back to hotel. Had a wide selection of sandwiches. We had the fried chicken with ham and cheese that they melt it down on a panini grill. Bought... More

The price is around 65 pesos for each sandwich (Oct 2016). The size is huge. I almost could not finish.

We went here on a Friday lunch time and the place was heaving. Quick efficient service and very good sandwiches! With good bread which is the most important thing. Vegetarian salad was also impressive and everything reasonably priced

I came here everyday after my spanish lessons! Could not resist. The salads are so tasty and fresh. And the sandwiches: you have to try them all. They are delicious!! And have I mentioned the lemonpie? Makes me miss my Buenos Aires daily lunches!

Best sandwich I had, with shnitzel, cheese, and bacon. Fantastic! Sometimes there's a big line and there's no place to sit. But it's worth it.

You can find delicius sandwiches with incredible combinations. There are with chicken, meat, bacon, tuna. Too, you can buy various salads with salmon or advocate. You take out the food or share the table with someone.

Admittedly got a salad (get greens where you can get them), but wasn't impressed. The meat was alright but had expected more

Staying in Montserrat

Neighbourhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighbourhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
