Very good pizzas and empanados. The best meat empanado I eat. Very good prices, good and fast service.

Besides the Obelisco is this rest where I ate a portion of pizza and one beef pasty. A place with more Argentinians than tourists. The bread of the pizza is not very thick but the mozzarella had 1 cm so unless you are actually hungry 1 portion is enough. The "glass " of wine was half a bottle, of course... More

The pizza is not good and in my opinion is very expensive due. I do not recommend this place. I think that BA has more good options less expensive than La Rey Pizzeria.

We shared an anchovy pizza, and a siphon soda for each. The pizza was delicious and the soda sent us back to our childhood (30+ yrs ago). The service was good too, so this place is highly recommended for a quick eat.

Our waiter, who knew a little English, was very patient with us. We ordered chicken and beef empanadas that were flaky on the outside and well seasoned inside. You need to know that waiters will not bring your check in Buenos Aires until you ask for it. We sat for awhile wondering when he would bring it, but that was... More

We ate here twice during our brief time in Buenos Aires. The food was delicious, and one of the employees helped us through the menu and ordering process, as we are definitely not fluent (or anywhere close) in Spanish. Definitely recommend.

If you are traveling with children in Buenos Aires, knowing where you can get good pizza is essential. La Rey Pizzeria is a great stop. Plenty of tables to sit and it is close to a good number of tourist sites. Adults should definitely try the cheese and onion pizza - recommended for adults only but very traditional and incredibly... We came here based on their TripAdvisor ratings and location to our hotel. We ordered one large (thin crust) red peppers and olives pizza (255 ARS). The pizza was pretty big and the two of us struggled to finish it. It tasted good and they were very generous with the cheese. Could do with a bit more tomato sauce though.... More

It was late afternoon and we were looking for a place that could provide a big meal for a couple of us and a snack/dessert for the others of us. This place filled the bill with good quality food and a friendly atmosphere. Actually, the desserts were terrific and the empanadas and the pizzas were really good as well.

If you're after pizza then you need to head to La Rey. Somewhere between Italian style, New York style but served in a Chicago deep dish pan (but much thinner). The most remarkable thing is that only two guys - The Maestros - make the pizzas at any given time so consistency is guaranteed. The wood fired oven is massive... More
