Lat's start off with the beauty of this place--bright and cheery, a wonderful ambiance reminiscent of a time gone by with beautiful art work surrounding us. Next add VERY professional wait staff who were really into providing a nice experience and most importantly well prepared and presented food that tasted great. Add an excellent wine list and we enjoyed a... More

- Amazing place to visit in Buenos Aires. - Fantastic architecture of old Buenos Aires. - Very traditional place to, at least, take some tea. - For those that know is similar to Confeitaria Colombo, downtown Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Very nice historical environment. Very good "medialunas". The "merienda" is spectacular, very good quality and quantità. Definitely will come back.

Loved the old-fashioned feel, stained glass windows, and entire back to the 30s feel. Tea and cakes are also traditional Argentine, filled with dulce de leche cakes. Nothing gluten-free. Nothing light. But the atmosphere and genuine 30s feel makes up for it.

With an antique atmosphere, the place is beautiful. The service was good, but the food was nothing special. Just fine. I would not come back.

What a beautiful interior! Felt the slightest bit kitschy, but it was beautiful inside and felt as though my friend and I travelled back to the early 20th century. Stained-glass windows, lots of food (tea-time style), and a wide array of people (groups of families, friends, or couples on dates all around us) made for a really unique coffee date.... More

You may have to wait but worth it. Come very hungary. We had the platter with the cakes and sandwiches. Enough to feed a family.

I visited Buenos Aires for a family reunion and went to this cafe for dinner with my husband's family members that used to live in BA. People seem to have mixed reviews but I personally had a great experience and I highly recommend this place if you are visiting BA for the first time. The one thing I highly recommend... More

I made a special trip to this café which I had visited before, It is so elegant and grand. I had a coffee and pastry which was very nice. The service was good and it was enjoyable just sitting and watching other people and the staff enjoying the atmosphere.
