Has gone down hill since 2013 we were looking forward to visit this place but where sadly disapointed by the lack of service and the overall quality of the food The staff seem disinterested To the extreme Rating score 3 / 10 And only because we managed to get a taxi quickly

Far from the center of Mendoza, take a cab (to go back needed to ask the restaurant to call a REMIS, cabs weren't available). REMIS are more expensive than the regular cabs, don't fall for that. Good meal, had "Asado de tira" and "Bife de Chorizo" good choices.

What a steak! My first proper taste of good Argentinian beef and wine- delicious!! The ambiance could have been a little nicer but the food makes up for any shortfalls.

First visit: recommended by the owner of the place we stayed. For Argentineans we were early and we could choose which table we wanted. By the time we were served our starters the place started getting half full and by the time we left most of the tables were taken. The waiters were very attentive and one of them went... More

Very good steaks and desserts, and a good selection of Malbecs on the wine list naturally. I would not put this place in the same category of a Spark's in New York or Carnal in Lima (some of the "Excellent" ratings here seem a bit breathless to me), but I would definitely eat here again quite happily. Service was outstanding... More

This is probably the best place to eat meat in Mendoza. The oringinal Don Mario. They have another one in Palmares. It is better to go there at lunch.

The meats were gristly and fatty. The fries soggy and flaccid. The rest of the food average at best [but the chorizo was good]. No way this should be considered a great, let alone adequate, restaurant. Prices were okay. Service to tourists [even those that speak Spanish] completely lacking. There are much better steak house/parillas in Mendoza. Don't waste your... More
