We visited for the menu del dia, and it was very nice. The menu consisted of a main and a drink, so not a full menu, however, the food that was served was tasty and well cooked. I would recommend it if looking for a cheap-ish lunch. The price for the menu was 90 pesos as I recall.

We came in for dinner around 9.30 pm and the place was nearly empty, but rapidly gained customers later on (typical of Argentina!). It's a really nice little restaurant - we liked the atmosphere and decor. Food was good though not outstanding. Good little courtesy entrada with tasty bread that looked homemade. I had the salad with sun-dried tomatoes and... More

If you want to try a place that locals would recommend, Patron is it! Their food was unique and very well done - for example trout filled with blue cheese and a sweet sauce. Unexpected but VERY tasty. Since the restaurant is a short walk away from the typical tourist strip, it is also a great value. We got a... More

We visited for both lunch and dinner and will highly recommend them. Super friendly, good service and great food. Their empanadas are just super. Will also recommend the trout with blue cheese cream.

We are here on out first night in Mendoza and were impressed! The food was fresh, filling and tasty. The service was top class, the woman serving us was super nice and helpful. She wrote down a list of vineyards for us when I asked. The beef was cooked perfectly for my liking. The bill was very reasonable and I... More

This was a gem of a find. After a while, it began to feel like deja vu in Mendoza with so many steak-filled menus. It was nice to change it up a bit with some lighter menu options. Patrona Comidas y Vinos seemed to be a predominately local restaurant--I believe we were the only tourists there at the time we... More

They do these roasted potato wedges with rosemary and some seriously delicious sauces. The waiter (who might have been the owner as well..), suggested we just do a half portion since we were also wanting to try three or four other dishes. It was a very good suggestion, the half portion was huge, but we absolutely devoured it. I can't... More

This review is long overdue, almost a year overdue! However, my wife and I had to make sure we fulfilled our promise to the owners and write a review. We were on a search for the best empanadas in Mendoza and the concierge at our hotel suggested this place, but said it's a 45 minute walk. So we thought, well... More

A friend of mine took me to lunch to this place which is like the "place" of the people living in that "barrio". It's decorated with very interesting posters and objects. There`s a casual atmosphere taht makes you feel at home. Service is good, too. Food is fresh and very tasty, they have salads!!!!

We had an awesome (and very reasonably priced) meal here during our first night in Mendoza. First of all, you HAVE TO start your meal with some of their empanadas because they were one of the highlights of the entire meal. Our table of four ordered two of the Malbec beef and cheese empanadas and one with mushrooms to share... More
