I had enough of steak so when we had been given a recommendation by a couple to try something alternative on the Azafran menu we were not disappointed! Beautiful decor, wonderful cool cellar where the sommelier brings you to choose your wine, and the loveliest staff. We chose a wine we had tasted earlier that day, the excellent value SinFin... I went to eat at 8pm which is very early by Mendoza standards so I was lucky enough to get a table without a reservation. The rabbit empanada was delicious and the steak with blue cheese, spinach and pastry was divine. They paired my plates with local wine. Perfect meal, thank you!

We reserved lunch in the wine "cellar " (actually a separate room on the same level, with lots of light). The food was FANTASTIC and the sommelier split a red wine and white tasting between the 3 of us so that we all got one glass of both red and white. We all tasted each other's, and so got a... More

Delightful, great food, the trout was excellent. Interesting wine service concept where you enter the cellar to choose your wine instead of using a wine list. The décor and cozy fell makes it a real winner.

We heard about this place from Tripadvisor and it certainly deserved its rating. It has a wonderful atmosphere with a romantic Old World charm and the food was outstanding. Little warm savoury rolls are served first . I had a delicious crisp phyllo crusted steak. We selected a 2006 Malbec from the cellar at a mere 60 pesos. It was... More

I had been at this restaurant a few years ago, while visiting Mendoza. The ambience, the service and the quality of the food were excellent. Thanks Vanina for the wine recommendation and Facundo for his service and attention to detail. I will definitely recommend this place.

5 courses with wine for about $90. We were lucky to get a cancellation and had to come to the restaurant when they opened at 8 PM. Well, we ate and drank and had a great time and stayed there til well after midnight. The wait staff and the sommelier were super friendly and very accommodating. This was definitely one... More

Again our host Mercedes from B & B Plaza Italia recommended this Resto. We loved the food, the service has to be improved. They either forget or come late, but this did not reflect on the quality of food. go for chateaubriand as a main course, a starter like hot Camembert or a beef tartar goes well with the wonderful... Loved the design of this restaurant (especially the wine room) and all our starters were delicious. After 2 hours we asked if we could please get the table cleared so we could have our mains and they brought us the menu. No one knew we had ordered mains, no one brought the girl over who took our order. All of... More
