Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Liars … When we went in we were told it was 17US$ / person, meaning 34$ for two. I had to pay 59$ «due to credit card fee », with no option to withdraw pesos. Let me make the calculus for you, it represents a credit...card fee of 73,5 %!!!!! Have you ever seen this ? I’ve never seen a credit card fee >10%… Complete nonsense…More

We had lunch here with our tour group. The lunch was a buffet and the food was tasteless. The service was very slow trying to get refreshments. Based on other lunches we had with our tour groups this one did not compare.

The barbecue smelled so good. I tried pork, sirloin and ribs. The meat was TOUGH. It must have been an old cow! Lol. Not. It was tough. The tortellini with Alfredo was very good, thank goodness. I asked for butter and they didn’t have it...or pepper. A drink is not included. A dessert is. It is a buffet and you can fill up, but the biggest draw, the bbq is a bust. Cost about $30 US.More

Surprisingly good food, and not too expensive considering it is an air conditioned restaurant in the heart of a major tourist attraction. Good buffet and freshly grilled meats from the Parilla. Attentive staff, despite the vast size. And air conditioning, which was a welcome relief...in a hot and humid day of walking.More

The main flaw of this restaurant is the lack of variety in the buffet options. Considering the quality of the food, it's a pricy restaurant. The Brazilian park counterpart, Porto Canoas, is way better in nearly every respect. The service is very good, though, and...the employees are very nice and polite. The dessert Chocotorta (included with the package) is the best thing I ate there.More

This place is where we ate for lunch after visiting the Brazil side of the Falls. The place is HUGE and there are a zillion food options. I strayed toward the vegetarian options for the most part and everything was delicious. I did have one...non-vegetable option and it was a seafood (maybe tilapia?) ceviche. My husband had it, too, and we loved it so much we went back for seconds. It is all you can eat, so eat! You sit in very long rows of tables, so you may face other people. (We sat across from our friends.). But, I enjoyed talking a lot to a couple next to me, too. Our total bill for me and the hubby was $660 pesos for our food AND two beers. That calculates into $11 in U.S. dollars, or $5.50 a person. How much more inexpensive can it get? In the U.S. $5.50 would. Get you one good beer. I wish we had a place like this where we live. I wish I had taken photos of the food setup to share on TripAdvisor, but I did not bring my camera for fear it would get wet at the Falls. Alas.....More

This restaurant gets stars mainly for convenience. It's located right at that junction between the roads to the train that takes you to Garganta del Diablo or the upper/lower trails. It's all-you-can-eat buffet only (does not include drinks) which was pricey for Argentinian standards, but...it's the best option especially when you are really hungry and tired after all the walking you have to do while in the park. They have a salad bar which also has items like rice, beans, etc. I agree the best part was the grill where you can ask the parillero for anything from ribs, matambre, vacio, sausage, chinchulin, morcilla, etc and get as much as you can handle in one meal. The meats were ok but the morcilla was actually good. The dessert section was non existent mainly offering fruits. There are bathrooms outside the restaurant which you can use to change into dry clothes, they're not the most spacious or comfortable for changing clothes but it's doable. The restaurant is cool inside and although there's an outside terrace there's no view to warrant sitting out there. They accept credit cards.More

Expecting to find a restaurant with an amazing view, we were disappointed to find that no waterfalls could be spotted. However, a beautiful panoramic of the river is still enjoyable. There are not many seats thats provide a good view, being most tables indoors and...only a selected few of the outdoor tables provide a clean-cut view. The food is decent but not even close to being worth the price. The mediocre food quality and the average view do not sum up to the costly price. Unless you would desperately like to watch the river, it is not worth it.More

My friend and I had visited the Iguazu National park to view the waterfalls and it was time to stop for lunch. Although most of the trails are flat, we were somewhat pooped. We were directed to le Fortin, an alm you can eat buffet...which was really outstanding. We were seated and given a plastic card and our drink orders were taken. Instead of a bill, all of your charges are placed on this card. The buffet is 850 argentinean pesos, which is reasonable. Wine and water are added as extra charges. There is hot food, salads, and most outstanding are the meats. They were excellent, especially the beef and the chorizo. The staff was pleasant and the food excellent'what more could you ask for? It is a large space and fills up quickly and get on the meat line first-that is usually the longest. I would heartily recommend.More

When you think of buffet you think of filler food at a low cost. Not here, the choices began with great cuts of beef, chicken and also pastas, rice, beans, stroganoff and everything in between.

Buffet lunch for us here. A great selection of food. Salads, rice, pasta, meat in sauces and grilled meat in the offing. Plenty of choice and food to suit all needs. Sweets of creme brûlée, poached pear and fruit salads were available. Staff seemed attentive...and the W.C. Was clean. A tip is to arrive early for lunch before the crowds make the restaurant busy.More
