The restaurant was great the wine as from California and a nice discount as hotel guest, The food was not Italian but fusion. it was not busy so the service was fast.

Met up with friends for happy hour, which turned into three hours. The staff was great, very knowledgeable about wine and made perfect suggestions. The food was classic with some modern twist. This cozy little spot is perfect for relaxing with friends. Had such a good time I forget to take a picture. I can't wait to go back.

Went with some friends for the Saturday morning brunch. The food was fabulous, our waitress was excellent and entertaining, and the decor was very unique. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously and plan to go back as soon as we can. We couldn't figure out why we had not been there before. It was quiet enough that we could enjoy everyone's conversation.... The service was great and the salmon was very well cooked. Others at my table seemed to enjoy their meals. The desserts were good, not outstanding. I think the best was the cake with mascarpone. There is a nice beer and wine list. You could dress up if you'd like, but it felt more on the casual side to me.... More

Yes a nice and friendly place which we visited at a quiet lunchtime. The meal was good the service was great, the owner served us and was very friendly. It was a quiet time around town in April of 2016 so I found it a little eerie almost deserted but maybe it was siesta time. We would go back again... More

This is the second time for food this week. 3rd time this month. First was dinner after wine group met there. I had a chicken pasta dish, excellent. Excellent. Brunch was a club sandwich. Staff friendly, visited with owner. I believe I could make this a regular stop!

Discovered II Vinaio prior to an evening show at the Mesa Amphitheatre. We loved it! Sat at the bar, which is artfully designed to promote conversation between staff and patrons. We conversed with two delightful couples, while enjoying specialties. All items are made on-site with fresh ingredients. One couple are regulars and members of The Wine Club. The menu is... More

This may be my 1st or 2nd one star review ever, I'm a really good reviewer and typically find the good in a place. First off the waitress was incredibly inattentive. She and the one other person working were much more interested in congregating and chatting at the wine bar. Next we ordered the $12 burger. Just a basic burger,... More

The wine choices are many - a bit expensive, but beverages always are.The food selection was limited. The food was good, but wish there was a better variety. With all the wines & a name like Il Vinaio, you would think there would be more Italian offerings on the menu.
