A truly family run Italian establishment with excellent dishes expected of this style of food. Son is serving, dad is cooking and momma is running the rest. Cozy atmosphere, lots of parking and top notch service. Prices are reasonable - wine selection is not huge but you can find what you need from the listings. It was packed on the... More

When you walk in your greeted and from them it just keeps getting better. The entire staff is friendly but more than that the people care about you as a customer. The selection of food is great and the quality is excellent.

The Roma Cafe is the place you want to go, if you're looking for the real thing in good Italian food. From the white tablecloths, the wine choices, the huge menu choices, and the music playing in the background are all part of an excellent place to dine while you are in the area. This place is run by Papa,... More

I was visiting Mesa and a friend suggested we have dinner here. It is a favorite with her family. The menu has lots of pasta and pizza dishes. My father and I shared a pasta and it was more than enough for both of us. We also shared a salad that was huge. They have these large cookies for dessert.... More

Good food by real Italians. Very diverse menu. Service is sometimes lacking but the food is not. Family run and operated. Same people forever.

Me and my wife go as often as we can. We have followed them from their old building to their new one. We have been there at least 35 times. I allmost always have the ciappino, but the wife tries everything. This is a family owned and operated restaurant. The parents are from Italy. And they children and their wifes... More

Great place for authentic Italian food in Mesa. It's family owned and run, and the family takes great pride in their food and service. Meals are always freshly prepared, and if something isn't right, they fix it immediately. My son and granddaughter loved it, and they are both used to authentic Italian food in their hometown of Reno.

We live in Mesa, and this is by far our favorite restaurant. The atmosphere is friendly and the service is great. The food is freshly prepared, perfectly cooked, tasty but never greasy or overly salty, the quality of the ingredients consistently high. The portions are on the large side. This time it was just my hubby and me, taking advantage... More

Had lasagna. Worst lasagna I ever had. The lasagna has little sausage balls cut in pieces between the sheets of lasagna. The sause was not great. The price was high for lasagna. We were looking for a go to Italian Restaurant since just moved into the area. It is supposed to be family owned. Not good!

We went to Roma's for a small family birthday celebration. Although they suggested reservations, upon arrival the place was pretty empty for a right-smack-dab-in-the-retirement mecca of Mesa, AZ, 5:30 PM, Saturday night. We were seated right away and the server was prompt to take drink orders. Overall, the meal was quite good, it appears almost everything on the menu is... More
