Very good food and drinks. You can come as you are, but I suggest dressy casual. Quite romantic. One of my favorites is the Cordon Bleu (schnitzel), home fried potatoes and red cabbage.

This evening my husband and I went to Bavarian Point Restaurant. We'd visited it several times years before, but after moving from the Valley, and coming back to visit, we wanted to try it again. The food, service and atmosphere is still as wonderful as we remember it. I had the Laks Anglaise (English Salmon) in Shrimp Sauce, the Salad... More

I am not an expert on German food but I liked everything I have had here! The frog legs are good as well as a nice salad bar! If available try the lentil soup! Excellent! The sauerbraten is also very good! Service is very good as well! Worth a visit!!

We went with friends here today for a luncheon. We ate in the restaurant part but a little later we moved to the lounge. It was not overly full which suited us since we understand that the evening becomes very busy. Friendly staff, good food which is reasonably priced and the beer (Draught) is excellent. The owner and chef Werner... More

Good German food. Not quite as good as in Germany but close. Beer was very good. Would recommend if like German foods.

Our local hosts like this place so it was a nice change of pace while visiting. We were early for our reservation for 6 - maybe that's why service was slow...they weren't quite ready for us? We also understand that the Chef Werner makes all the dishes himself. Wow! Once we got a waitress, she was accommodating and had helpful... More

I love German food. I live in the central valley of California and unfortunately, German cuisine is few and far between. While visiting my daughter in Mesa, I mentioned this, and a quick search brought Bavarian up. Oh my word..... we had an incredible meal. I would like to say..... I really don't have any comparisons for other German restaurants...... More

I have visited this restaurant every year in November. This time with my mother and sister. The bread was excellent could not get enough of it. My mothers Rindsroulade tasted wonderful. My sister's Goulash Suppe was way to salty to where she could not eat it. My bratwurst however was very under-cooked. Pink through-out the middle and it tasted the... More

Had the stroganoff and I wish I could take it home with me! The salad bar is just to keep you busy til the entree arrives so try not to take too much. Wait staff has been there for years and are so friendly. Not very busy and I don't know why. Please come here and you won't be disappointed.... More

Whereas there are a few places in and around the greater Phoenix, Arizona area serving German food, none compare to the Bavarian entrees served here. Generally, to my understanding, the proprietor takes off every summer and heads on over to Bavaria, stocks up on necessities, transports it back. Naturally, I am speaking of spices principally. When ordering Wienerschnitzel, one can... More
