For the price go to the Charrua.. The place is a tourist trap. The quality isn't there. And it's infested by flies inside.

Located in the bustling restaurant area on Balcacares, I had the best piece of meat in my 3 week trip in Argentina. The eggplant appetizer they give you is delicious, and my bife de chorizo was excellent. You can sit outside and watch the scene, which is quite something.

My son ordered the parilla p/dos and obviously was expecting some meat fest. Argentinian meat platters seem to consist of a lot of things we gringos aren't used to and the edible things weren't too great neither. Nice location and service though; can't speak for the rest of the food.

As indicated in the previous review, La Lenita has been replaced by a restaurant called Alsina at the same location with the same interior as shown in the photos of La Lenita on this page. But unlike the previous reviewer, I did not enjoy my meal as much. I ordered a steak that was prepared well but the quality of... More

We looked for this restaurant when we were in Salta last month, and discovered it ceased to exist last fall. There is a new restaurant in that location called Adelina. Definitely worth it - see my review on this restaurant.

La Lenita serves classic parrillada and does it very well. The meat was very good, the salad (uncommonly they have a salad bar) good and the ambience of the place as it should be. It's located in the "entertainment centre" of Salta so you're spoilt for choice when it comes to bars and restaurants. During the meal one of the... More

Argentina is a country of beef . . . and more beef . . . and more beef with few to no veggies and a bit of salad. We selected the pollo (chicken breast) which is pounded and served on a plate with a slice of lemon. We ordered fries for our side (they were just OK), but the pollo... More

We were told that in this restaurant waiters are hired only if they can sing, but that night they were probably taking a break in their tournée ... Anyway, the large buffet gives a good choice to vegetarians, and the parrilla makes the rest of the table more than happy. Large room, no noise, relaxing experience, decent price. Just jeep... More

We stayed one night in Salta and this resto was recommended by our hotel. It's in a cosy street with lots of bars and restos. Nice trendy interior with lots of space, good food and 1 litre Stella bottles. Not the most typical of Argentinian restos, but good quality and nice atmosphere at reasonable prices
