Good steak restaurant. Nice change vs the. Many tourist places with bad quality. Friendly waiters and foot quality meat.

We don't normally treat ourselves to steak and wine nights so this was a must while in town. We ordered way too much food, a steak each, salad and sweet potato fries to share, plus a bottle of Malbec. We snacked on the bread before hand as well so couldn't finish it all as the steak was massive. All of... More

We visited this restaurant in December in the beginning of our trip through South America and can honestly say it was the best steak we ate on our holiday! It was so perfectly cooked and sides were incredible too. We ate at a lot of pricier restaurants in Buenos Aires and throughout and this topped them hands down! If you... More

Another popular parrilla for good reason, a real international mix of clients and locals alike, warmly welcomed, smart waiters, great steak and a very good selection of local Malbec wines, well worth a visit.

A very nice restaurant with fantastic service. The food is excellent, beautiful steaks and stunning salads. The best I've eaten here so far. The restaurant filled us while we were there and it is clearly a popular place.

I followed TripAdvisor recommendations, and was not disappointed! I have been two times and the Asado de tira is nice, big portion and good meat. I reject one bottle of wine the second time because not good (that can happen anywhere) and no problems. Real European's coffee like in France and Italy, really pleasant after a while without it !... We had beef chorizo and salad - both were superb. The service was one of the best I've every witnessed. And of course - the limoncello on the house was fantastic!

I almost never return to a restaurant when traveling, but I went to El Charrua twice in my two days in Salta. The meats were excellent. We had the chorizo, which was arguably the best we've had after two weeks in Argentina. The chicken was really good value (US$5 for a quarter boneless chicken) and very yummy! But be prepared... The restaurant is quite big and is located a few blocks from the main square. It has a large menu and offers a lot of different wines. Their white house wine was a perfect match with my "churrasco" meat with fries. The fries were ok but the meat was delicious and a lot! My girlfriend had a lasagna and that... More

Have been travelling around Argentina, Chile and Uruguay for the last month and have taken the time to write reviews on those that I feel need recognition, and also those that require some warning. This place was great and definitely worth a visit. The Ojo de beef was some of the best we have had, bottle of Malbec was only... More
