Sierra Bonita has a great atmosphere. Very well decorated. Our server did a fantastic job and was very quick. The food was average at best. A lot of our items were under cooked. Cocktails were good.

Of course the variety of food is beautifully presented and excellent. Reluctantly tell you, the enclosed patio is a gem and not crowded... The surprise is there is downstairs - a couple large event rooms and a "very special wine cellar" - you can reserve and dine in the wine cellar up to about 8 guests (bring a jacket). Grreat... More

Took a group of business colleagues to this restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The service was excellent but not intrusive. All of the items that were ordered looked phenomenal. I had the salmon fish tacos which was plentiful and delicious. Wen back the following day with my partner.

Every item is costly. Flavorful Prime Rib @ $38 is a bit high, although, it was a good portion and lean, yet tender. Cooked as requested, med-rare to medium. Grouper was a good, fresh piece of fish. Good sauce. Small potatoes good. Visual was very nice. Garnish of Black bean+corn relish is excellent. Buttermilk Pie dessert was tasty. OK, we... More

I ordered the stacked enchiladas. As the title of my review states, the best meal I've ever had. Granted, during my bachelor days, everything I ate came through a window in a Styrofoam box, but these enchiladas were by far the best I've had! I've heard there are places in New Mexico that beat this...time will tell.

Stopped in for lunch and had trouble picking from the menu. So if you're looking for something a little different, this might be the place for you.

This was my second time at the restaurant with my wife. We both really enjoy the atmosphere, food and cocktails. The service has been excellent. This restaurant will become a regular for us even though it is a 40 minute drive from our home.

It starts with the service at the front desk to our waiter on a very busy Saturday night:.all performed to expectations. Very creative menu and NOT typical Mexican at all. The stacked enchillada dish was loaded with flavor and the NM style green chili employed a nice medium heat level. Even the chicken sandwich was wonderful with a side of... More

This is a landmark restaurant for southwestern cuisine. There is a western, cowboy theme inside, although it is not obtrusive. We had the cowboy stew served in a cast iron skillet which had tender meat and an observable amount of spicy heat; good and hearty. We also had the shrimp ceviche which was quite good with plump, crunchy shrimp. We... More

Description
The Sierra Bonita Grill is named after the historic Sierra Bonita Ranch in South Eastern Arizona. Founded by Henry Hooker in 1872, the Sierra Bonita Ranch was known for it’s hospitality and innovative ranching methods. We would like to celebrate the spirit represented by Mr. Hooker and other pioneer ranches throughout Arizona with our restaurant and hope to continue the tradition of great food and hospitality. Our menu reflects the hearty cooking style of Southern Arizona ranches, many of which were started by Spanish and Mexican families. We will continue to explore the ongoing Mexican and Latin influences on this area’s culture and food. Patio seating available to accommodate 30 people.
