The food is excellent! Lechon cooked to perfection. I had the Halo-Halo and it was so delicious!! Will definitely recommend and return with family and friends. :)

Food is definitely old!! The son who was helping was very rude. He was taking his time playing on his phone rather helping us. I would not recommend this place and it is very stinky. Stuck up employees!!!

I went into this restaurant because my daughters, half Filipino, wanted to eat Halo Halo. Having lived in the Philippines for numerous years I can speak some Tagalog. So I ordered in Tagalog. The cashier seemed angry I was doing it as well as a few patrons. My daughters, who speak Tagalog, then ordered in Tagalog and again the lady... More

I introduced my boyfriend to my country's food by bringing him here. I got a different variety of dishes. I was very disappointed in the pancit. It had a different flavor than I'm used to. Mediocre at best. The fact that it was dried up from being in the buffet for however long may have been a big factor, also.... More

I read a good amount on this place, and I was really excited to go. I am filipino - so I am no stranger to the food whatsoever. However, upon arriving, I was surprised...and not in a good way. It looked like they were going to close early for a private party, which was not announced on their website. But... More

Not a chain, it is family run. You order cafeteria style. I ordered two entree the chicken adobo and beef chunks with veggies in peanut sauce, 2 scoops of white rice and San Miguel beer and it was only $10.00. I also ordered the barbeque pork that comes with 2 fried eggs and rice and the 10 piece lumpia (tiny... More

This is about as anti-chain as you can get. Just what I like! Family ran, authentic. The owner greeted us at the door and explained how the point-point counter worked, even offering some samples of items to help us decide. The blood soup was one of the winners. They just had a great write up in the New Times today... More

I swung by Halo Halo for lunch today based on strong reviews in Urban Spoon. The food was largely unfamiliar to me -- different from Thai and other Asian foods I have experienced. The chicken and beef dished I ordered to accompany the two generous scoops of rice were smooth and flavorful -- not spicy like I had anticipated. The... More

Went here for lunch on a weekday, no crowds. You order your food cafeteria style. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. They sell other Filipino delicacies to go or by special order. The dining area is clean and roomy. The ambience is dark, muted colors with TVs and speakers strewn about and makes you suspect that the place doubles... More

Halo-Halo Kitchen is a Filipino social gathering place. On Friday nights they offer karaoke (Tagalog and English) and dancing. We've been there multiple times. The best food on the menu is the traditional Filipino breakfast, Silog plates. These are combinations of rice, eggs, and a choice of meats such as Filipino sausage, pork, or SPAM and can be ordered all... More
