Had a pleasant lunch with great service. Had the southwestern salad with salmon, which was very tasty and tender. Service was prompt. Decor is very nice. Good experience.

Good service, great drinks and great a selection of appetizers to share. The Chile Pork Verde and Street Tacos were big hits.

Excellent Mexican fare. Steak burrito was outstanding and enough for two meals. Their Margaritas are excellent too.

We were at the mall and had a hunger attack and didn't want the regular mall food fare. Sitting at the edge of the mall, we dashed in. What a pleasant surprise. From the skinny margaritas to the steak burrito everything was delish! On a business trip but would definitely eat here again. Fast and casual but good. Wish you... More

I went here for a quick business lunch and booked ahead of time in case it was busy and their text message back with confirmation was a good start. The greeter was very nice and I chose a table outside as the music inside I found a little loud as I wanted to have a good conversation. The menu is... More

Went on a Sunday evening, happy hour 3-5, so late. Had the smallest margaritas ever-a conical stem glass, about 4 in high & 2 in Siam at top. Purposely asked for only 2 ice cubes, mine came that way and was 2 swallows wife's filled with ice and maybe 3 small sips Price $7.50 each so they make 6 to... More

We had a non rushed evening with friends. Service was attentive and not pushy. Food was good, not great. Drinks were average and the table side guacamole was expensive for the finished product. I am glad we went but do not expect excellent.

We came here with family and friends for a dinner on a recent visit to the area. This was recommended by our friends who live in Phoenix as one of their favorite places. Overall, the food was good and not overly spiced. The margaritas were good, but they were served in fairly small glasses filled with ice, and they were... More

Very enjoyable experience. Friendly and helpful staff. Good southwestern/Mexican menu. Substantial portions. We took home some of each of our entrees and some of the peach cobbler, which we had shared and could not finish off.

This is a second review for me of this restaurant. First review was very good due to an excellent happy hour. Went back with friends last week. How they have turned the tables on us makes this one of the worst Happy Hours in town. Flemming's is much more affordable then Z-Tejas. Drinks run about $6 with beer being around... More

Conveniently located in the Paradise Village Gateway Center, between Scottsdale and Paradise Valley, Z'Tejas is a popular gathering spot for lunch, happy hour and dinner. The menu, largely influenced by the South, signifies the bold robust flavours of Arizona, California, Louisiana, New Mexico and Texas. Fresh, flavourful and innovative, the restaurant takes traditional ingredients, spices and cooking techniques from around these states to create a taste that knows no boundaries. For a great view, ask to be seated on the climate-controlled patio. Live music accompanies your meal on most Thursdays, starting at 18:00, and every Friday starting at 19:00.
