Fuego Bistro really does deliver fire Mexican food, with strong drinks and good entertainment. The Ancho Salmon Croquette is by far my favorite item on the menu, I usually order more than 1 for the table to go around and its always a hit. Reservations are not necessary in my opinion, and theres always plenty of parking.

We hadn't had a chance to try the restaurant after we had them cater an event last December (2015), but I won't wait that long next time. Food was amazing!!!! Loved the outdoor patio and live music (lots of heaters)-it is such a unique setting. Service was amazing as the staff seems to stay forever, unlike many restaurants. We had... More

I had used this restaurant to cater an event a year ago and I heard the food was great. After all, when you host a big party, you never get to eat. In addition, I do not eat meat and i wanted my guests to experience that food. We finally had a chance to go eat at the restaurant and... More

It's January and I was skeptical of eating outside - even in Phoenix. The dining area is a lovely cozy outdoor space kept warm with heaters. The authentic Mexican food with just the right spices was delish. 4 of us had the short rib enchilada with mole sauce and it did not disappoint. It paired beautifully with their special cornbread.... I travel to Phoenix once a year for business. I always make it a point to go to fuego bistro. Great food, great atmosphere, live music, etc. this time was no disappointment. I went with the mole enchiladas, chipotle cheddar mashed potatoes, and green chile corn bread. Everything was fantastic. I'll be back in a year!

Loved the feel of this place. We went with friends who are regulars here. We received excellent service. We were able to talk and enjoy each other. The setting felt quite intimate. The food isn't totally mexican. Seems to have a bit of a South American flare to it. That kept the menu choices interesting. The drinks- even more so. I... More

Unassuming place just off W. Bethany. The drink menu was longer than the food options, but don't let that scare you. Everything we tried was amazing. Homemade empanadas, tortilla soup packed with flavor, shredded pork cooked for 24 hours, and the most incredible cornbread casserole. Our enchanting waitress, Susie, promised me the recipe.

Nestled in the patio surrounded by a dance studio and with a charming fountain in the middle, this place is well worth the risk. Out of towners will find the neighborhood iffy for a good place to eat, but if you want some quality local character, this is your destination. I happened in too early for dinner but instead was... Our friends from Chicago came to visit during the last week in October. They arrived on Saturday, the day of the third game of the World Series. The game was on TV and everyone was gathered around, rooting for the Cubs. My wife said she was getting hungry and wanted to go to Fuego Bistro. Everyone made mmmmm mmmmm sounds... More

The waitress said that they are a Cuba type Mexican. I had the Chili Rellano it was ok. I enjoyed my meal, my husband had 2 tacos, both had rice and beans. $30 for lunch/tip
