Enjoyed this small authentic Mexican Restaurant with friendly wait staff. Live jazz most evenings, prompt service, reasonable pricing. Easy access well located. Nice open bar we would definitely return

We had a group of 5 and were seated in a wonderful corner banquette. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was fabulous, the drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was fun. Our waitress gave us good recommendations and we all loved what we ordered. One person in our party was celebrating a birthday. I told the hostess as... More

Everything that we ordered here was delicious, and our waitress was very nice. It's really close to our daughter's apartment, so will be a regular lunch stop for us.

Every visit we've made to Blue Adobe has been a great experience. The food is authentic NM style which is much different than Mexican or Tex-Mex. Our favorite choices are the Spooning Rellenos and Cruz Kitchen. Their red and green sauces are both delicious. Wine pours are generous. Servers pleasant and professional. The owner is frequently present and is very... More

Wanted to try New Mexico style food (as opposed to Mexican which I am well acquainted with living in LA). Blue Adobe is a quaint place with very good service. The disappointment was the food. Our family of four ordered four different dishes with chicken and they tasted virtually identical?! There appeared to be no marinade or prep to the... More

I enjoy and am very critical about different styles of Mexican food and Blue Adobe has become one of my new favorites; what a nice surprise and value. This place had a nice ambiance, welcoming young staff, and live music on a Thursday night. Not much of a bar scene but we didn't go there to just drink. The tortilla chips... More

I was in Scottsdale on vacation and stopped in at a different bar and grill to grab a bite and a beer. After waiting for over 10 minutes with no acknowledgement I got up and left to return to my hotel. I noticed this restaurant heading back and figured to give it a try, Within 3 minutes of being seated... More

First revelation: we live in New Mexico. That's means we eat green or red chile weekly, with all degrees of spicy. I had the pork chops with raspberry chipotle and mango salsa. Served up with a big mound of red chile mashed potatoes; the chile is stirred into the potatoes, not smothered on top. Very inventive, deliciously flavored. It was... More

Had eaten here on a previous trip to S'dale and were excited to return. Unfortunately it wasn't quite as good as our initial visit. Service was friendly albeit a little less attentive than one would like. Chips and salsa were tangy and tasty. Chicken tacos were delicious BUT the pork carnitas, although moist and tender, were immersed in a heavy... More

Thank you for the feedback. I apologize for the lack of attentiveness regarding service. No excuse. The Carne Adovada Tacos are an acquired taste. Adobo Sauce for which the pork is immersed is not as sugary as a typical American BBQ sauce. Thanks for the head's up.... More
