We went here as a group and, even as a self-professed foody, I found myself googling various tastes and spices on the menu. It was initially intimidating and the menu was admittedly something I would have passed on if only viewed from the outside. The server posed a suggestion that changed everything. he said' let me drive'. he solicited particular... More

We wanted to get a reservation on a Saturday nite. All full. We were told the bar area might be available. When we arrived later, not only was the bar available, there was also a larger table available but it was not exactly inside. It was too cold that evening to sit there. We sat in the bar, at a... Amazing experience. Every mouthful was a total flavor bomb. We ordered an entrée, a vegetarian side and a starter for the two of us and that was plenty of food. The wine was absolutely delicious too, including the rose made by one of the owners. The staff was also outstanding all around. I think this is my new favorite restaurant,... More

This very highly rated restaurant is, in my opinion, of the extremely eclectic style. In fact, I hesitated going to this restaurant as the very limited main course selection (4 on last nights dinner menu) made me think that either myself or my wife would not find something to eat. We started with "marcona almonds, piment d’espelette", a very tasty... More

This small place offers great food, using local ingredients as much as possible, in a lively atmosphere. Our friendly waiter was able to offer a thorough description of everything on the menu, as well as expert and appropriate recommendations for wines to compliment the food. Perhaps most surprising was the concentration on Arizona wines -- who knew you could make... More

We were looking for something other than the big steak or piece of fish. FnB was a delightful and delicious choice. The beginning selections were outstanding in variety and quality. Seared lamb dumplings were a special. We shared the cauliflower and ricotta dish. It was substantial and wonderful. The waiter was so helpful too. I recommend ordering as in a... More

I will preface this by saying the food I review may be different than offered as the restaurant changes the menu often. I ordered the Portuguese soup and arugula salad as well as the langos. All of these dishes had much stronger flavors than I expected. The Portuguese soup was spicy unlike the traditional soup (which I've eaten my whole... More

We arrived early for our reservation and were quickly ushered to the bar where we enjoyed cider from an impressively long list of options. Our table was ready on time and we were seated in the cozy dining room. It was a busy Friday night but the tables are spaced to allow for intimate conversations and minimal eavesdropping! We ordered... More

This is a small, casual restaurant; about thirty seats, with another ten outside. The lunch menu is only about six "small plates" that have huge portions. We had four, took about two thirds home. Each dish was just amazingly delicious. All had many, many ingredients, something I normally don't like, but here it worked so well. The service is casual,... More
