I am vegan and my husband is not, but we both loved this little gem of a restaurant/store in Sedona. It was our first stop upon arriving and made us both feel right at home. I had the sautéed crimini mushrooms in garlic almond crème sauce over mashed potatoes (instead of rice), and it was to-die-for. May be the best... More

ChoclaTree is a throwback. Old school style from a time when vegetarians were rare and the food was high in fiber and low in taste. ChoclaTree was highly recommended and we were anxious to try it. The people were nice and the menu was creative. The atmosphere was comfortable.

I'm not vegan and I'm not vegetarian, and I'm not gluten free. But I should still be able to enjoy a good lunch. Had the dosa (which was absolutely nothing like a dosa) and the saag paneer (which was absolutely nothing like a saag paneer). The food was just odd. Not even tasty. And expensive. Saag paneer was boiled spinach... More

Lots of variety, good food, fair prices, cool garden. Glad I went, I would recommend it to anyone that's interested in that style of eating.

Chocolata Tree's menu is varied and savory. Ate there several times over a 5 day visit in order to try the creative menu for discerning vegetarian palates. The confections are perfection

This place is deceiving from the front. The outside back garden is awesome! We stopped in for lunch. My friend eats a lot of this type of food but I don't. I honestly had the best cold carrot soup I've ever tasted. It was so relaxing sitting there. Could've stayed for hours. Yes, it's got a fun hippie vide. No... More

Don't let the word chocolate in the name fool you, this is a wonderfully prepared vegan or vegetarian restaurant! AND, don't think you're going to leave hungry because you didn't get any meat! We started with the Sampler Platter and had a wonderful mix of guacamole, hummus and pico de gallo. Moving on to our dinners; my Sedona Wrap was... More

When I was working in Africa, I ordered a lot of stuff from these guys and would stop in for something to eat whenever I was in town, so don't forget you can order on-line goods too!

Service is always slow and unfriendly tough - downside ~ but food makes up for it. A bit pricey, but it's Sedona and they are so unique that it's also worth it. Spring/Summer outdoor patio is divine!

Beautiful garden and decent vegan food, especially the baked goods. We were seated in the garden in mid afternoon and saw 2 mice. We alerted the couple at the table next to us as we didn't want them to be startled by tiny animals scampering over their feet. But they acted offended that we had even noticed and they seemed... HOW IT ALL CAME TO BE Kelly Johnson and Jen Marie met in March of 2006, while Kelly was first creating his delicious chocolate creations. Soon after meeting Jen began to tend the garden at the building Kelly was creating his chocolates. At that time, it was quite barren but Jen was determined to create a sanctuary where the elemental beings could rejoice. She planted the garden with the inspiration of Anastasia and assistance of many locals to Sedona. Through an unusual course of circumstances the building that is now ChocolaTree became available for rent. So, father and daughter David and Jen Marie opened their doors as ChocolaTree Organic Oasis in January 2009 with a vision. Our Vision We see a World of natural beauty where every child is born into a domain with clean air, pure water and their very own garden growing fresh foods in a splendid paradise! Intention ChocolaTree is a Sanctuary where each Being can nurture their Authenticity
