I went a part of a large group and we could not all sit together. However the food more than compensated. The specialist is seafood so don't go if you don't like that although there is other stuff on the menu as well. It took some time for food to arrive but that might have been due to the group... When I patronize the King Fish House restaurants in California, I always order the ceviche. I was disappointed that the Tempe location didn't serve it. They also didn't have the fish I ordered and I had to settle for another type of fish. I've never had this experience at this chain before. Hopefully the service will improve.

Overall the food was very good for the three of us. However, I would suggest you sit in a booth not located near the bar. Staff have to attend to bar and outdoor seats and can become very busy.

During a trip to visit family in the Phoenix area we went out for dinner at the Kings Fish House. Took a bit long for our waitress to bring fresh bread, she said it was baking. She seemed a bit harried all the time we were there. Took 30 minutes before it finally appeared but was good sour-bread. The four... More

We were a party of four. Had a house special drink for the evening, which was a bloody Mary. We all had different main dishes and everyone liked what they had. I had Sea Bass and it was very tasty. The atmosphere was average nautical. The service was attentive. W wanted something different and this fit our requirements.

Too long of a wait for our food. Had elderly parents and 3 small children. Granted the waiter was training but in such cases should have more than one waiter for such a large group(11). The outdoor patio was nice but really close to busy street with lots of traffic noise.

service was very good and everyone in the party was happy with their entrees. The artichoke appetizer was a nice novelty. Chowder was superb and portions were generous. Will definitely be back on a future trip.

Love the macadamia crusted halibut. Great atmosphere and service. I have been here a couple of times and it has been good both times.

This place is located in the marketplace in Tempe. It's off McClintock and the 202 We went about a week before Christmas so the parking lot was jam packed and parking was miserable. Once inside the place was not at capacity so we were seated right away. I ordered the swordfish which was an excellent choice. It came out prepared... More
