I used to dine here all of the time when I was in High School but haven't been in town for 10 years. I made sure to bring the family by when we were visiting this Christmas. There have been improvements to the decor from what I remember. The food and salsa were as delicious as ever. After being away... More

My used to stop in here when she was in high school. I dropped by for dinner and the menu appears to be the same. I had the machacha dinner platter which was very good - moist tender beef, a huge soft flour tortilla, rice & beans, and a bag of tortilla chips. The salsa was delicious with a hint... More

This is a Yuma constant. I first ate here 30 years ago- but they have been around a lot longer than that. Same folks. Same food. Same place. My friends had burritos. I had rolled tacos. These rolled tacos are so good when my Yuma friend's kid moved to Chicago- she used to fly with these in her purse. Immediately... More

The shredded beef folded tacos are the best. The dinner combos are affordable and filling. If you have a big appetite, get something extra on the side. It's easy to do because the prices are very reasonable. Check out the colorful decor. This is a local favorite so you'll get to see lots of people and get a feel for... More

Since it has been awhile since I was in town, I had to make my way to Chile Pepper. Of course it did not disappoint. I had the machaca with no egg burrito, rice, and beans. I also had to get a side of fries. Their hamburgers and fries are pretty good as well. This is a place where you... More

If your in the Yuma area and want to try the "local" food this the place to go! Normally I would never order a plain bean and cheese burrito but I do here and they are excellent! I really cant explain why they are so good but trust me, they are!

This place is the same family that had "La Casa Gutierrez." Senior Gutierrez passed away on '91, bit his wife and family continue today with this establishment.

This is a busy place as it is one of the award winners for Burritos in the USA. We ordered a lot and it came to only $65. Carne Asada was very good and not overloaded with sauce and plenty of meat. We would go back the next time we are in Yuma.

Lured by a highly positive rating, we were equally pleased with our order of 12 to go. Many did not make the trip home. We will make this a regular stop when next in Yuma!
