This will now be my go to place when I am in the area. I recently had dinner here with a friend who recommended it for good southern comfort food. He was right! The chicken fried steak sandwich was delicious. There are so many things on the menu that I want to try.

Service was a little slow during lunch hours, but had the meatloaf lunch special that was very good.

This was my 2nd visit. Always have enjoyed the food! Service is slow and it seems they could really benefit from another server or cashier, as it is not at all a timely place for a lunch break. But if time wasn't a factor, it would be perfect.

The restaurant is good. The waiting time is a bit much, don't do during your hour lunch or order ahead.

Loved this place! Traveling through I was searching for a local diner to eat, wanting to avoid chain food places. I saw the ratings and comments on this Cafe and it sounded like what I was looking for... It was perfect - one of their specialties is a philly cheesesteak - it's not a traditional one in that sense, but... More

Okay....not the five stars I was expecting unless you come from a family of mediocre cooks and decorators. First off, the mash potatoes were instant and I plainly told the waitress, if instant, I don't want them. The waitress was a doll however and so was the owner, very accommodating. The chicken fried chicken tasted fine but was not "pretty".... More

Just an incredible Cafe with most of country café entrees, but also different sandwiches. Then there are the desserts. But the Fried pies are without s doubt the very, very best that I have ever eaten. Please stop there for your own good.

This is a little jewel among blue plate cafes!! Wonderful southern cooking like Grandma used to make. My husband ordered fried catfish and I had the blackened!! Both delicious! Sides were great and plentiful. Will go out of our way to return!

Was there on recommendation from Palace Motel staff and was not disappointed. Great food, served hot and exceptional service at a very reasonable price. Is a family owned and operated Café, so they take care of customers.
